Easyriders Cinema Room

Just to say thanks for the Media Browser tip, Installed it a few days ago & now on my way to getting it configured.

Good little prog but I find having to go through a forum to get it set up a bit of a fuddle. looks great when it is set up right though.

Love your Fender Strat easyrider... I play guitar also, I have done for about 14 years on and off.. I am a Les Paul man myself though... but I do like strats for playing certain types of music, but my Les Paul is a great all round guitar...

I also have a 7 string Japanese Ibanez RG7420 from early 2000, it is another cracking guitar, and I run my guitars through my Marshall JCM2000TSL 100w valve head and Laney 4x12 cabinet, and I also use a Line6 POD X3 Live floor pedal, the tones that this setup delivers are second to none IMO...

cheers mate,

The home studio bit fo the room is coming along nicely....I have decided to get my drumkit out of storage...

just ordered the same projector that you went for Easy, how are you finding it? How far back is the projector to get your 92" view?

Its a great piece of kit.

Just been watching Wimbledon on Sky HD and I hate tennis:p

I would say about 3 metres back but I used the calculator on the optoma site m8.

Nice one, ill go check it out, should be arriving today, and my wall is getting screeded next week to remove the artex, ill then paint it the correct colour to save money on a projector to kick off.

Out of interest, do you use a switcher to switch from HD on your TV to HD on your Projector, or does your amp do all this?

Amp does it all.

It has 2 HDMI outputs.

I just switch between HDMI Main (for Screen) and HDMI Sub for the TV:)

hey, couldnt let me know what you think of the Tannoys you have could you please?
looking for some decent/cheap speakers for my first proper set up

What HDMI cable did you bury in the wall? Looks meaty :D

It appears you also used some plastic square trunking to hide it in the wall behind the TV?

Sorry.. soaking ideas for my build and I was originally going for HD over CAT6 but that HDMI cable looks the nuts.

Its a guaranteed 15m cable....although I never tested it before I buried it.:eek::D

I made a channel in the wall for the HDMI cable but changed my mind and decided not to wall mount the TV
