EE - 4G

Anyone else noticed that the 'mobile broadband' plans, it's more expensive to choose a 24 months contract than a 18 month one!

And lol at those plan lengths as well, who would get mobile broadband and sign up to an 18 month contract?

And laugh some more at no 8GB sim only tariff!

I get your point however I think even the people who would be getting it for bragging rights would still end up using more data once they realise just how easy it is use when it is that quick. I just cannot imagine people buying into it just so they can say "I got a 4G iPhone yo, look how quick BBC loads up"

Hahaaaa even better, now being reported that the average usage on one of the EU 4G networks is 15GB a month, almost twice the top package.

I hadn't noticed but yes you're right, the shorter contract is cheaper acrosss the board. Surely a typo..? :confused:

4G really isn't worth bothering with at the moment as I suspected.

That doesn't stop people upgrading to the newest iPhone regardless of the price or the new features.

4G is still 'early adopter' at the moment, and will be for a long time. The average non techy will only wise up 2+ years down the line just like they did with 3G.

Which is why surly they should target early adopters, which aren't going to 500mb-8Gb users.

Especially seeing as 98% of the population lives outside of the 4g areas.

I was expecting something like 5GB , 10GB and 20GB options at competitive prices. Very disappointing.

America get **** deals on everything mobile related. So it's not comparable.

It is not really much more for me, like I said a comparative product from O2 or Vodafone it is like £5 more than the EE service. For more heavy data users yeah the choices kinda suck, I reckon doubling their current data usage would have been a good starting point.

Which building is that on? The one above the door in Aztec 800 is small and doesn't look illuminated.

Am I the only one that thinks the sign looks like 2 giant tablets with E on them? Hmmm.

Use iPhone as other 4g phones aren't available.
EE £179.99 + £36(500mb) or £41 (1gb) or
O2 £199.99 + ££31 (1gb) or
O2 £49.99. + £41 (2Gb)

So that's £10 extra

just got an email stating the £99 is actually to swap your phone for its 4g counterpart! Existing 4g owners will be able to choose the sim only plans

I am talking about the SIM only plans in comparison to other networks.

EE £179.99 + £36(500mb) or
EE £109.99 + £41 (1gb)
O2 £199.99 + ££31 (1gb)
O2 £49.99 + £41 (2Gb)
VF £99 +£37 (1Gb)
VF £49 + £42 (2Gb)
three £79 + £36 ( 2000mins, 5000 texts, unlimited Internet )

So that's £10 extra
Or half price phone and double internet

The only one in a similar price range is VF 1Gb but on EE you still end up paying twice the amount for the phone.

He said it's on Cap, the side facing the road to the M4/M5 junction.

EE Film isn't using data allowance which is nice at least, I guess it demos the function even if you only have half a gig

EE Clone phone on the other hand is £6 - is this a re-brand of handset insurance with an sync app on it? Doesn't look like anything else to me at least. Deezer also went to £41+ (was previously available on cheaper tariffs), this is a much undersold object though, I really like this app.
