EFL Cup - Semi-Final ** Spoilers ** [10/11/25/26 January 2017]

If you ask me and we will only see more of this , we have been sussed out now, teams know that if they defend deep we just dont know how to break through. Wouldnt be surprised to see Utd do it again at the weekend. Teams know that our defence is errorprone and is almost guaranteed to give you a clear chance, so the straight forward way to deal with Liverpool is defend deep, wait for the inevitable defence cockup and hope that you are in the right place when it happens.

Also, we seem a bit Arsenal-esque at times, taking too many touches as we attack when its not needed
 
Awful half for us. Our midfielders have been flat and slow, our attack is lacking movement and our CBs have both been woeful. Biggest worry is the form of Firmino and Can again, both look completely off the pace and in need of a proper rest.

Can doesnt need a rest he needs dropping altogether been awful all year. Firmino has been cack since Countinho got injured
 
Sturridge needs to do way more than he's doing tonight. He's not first choice when we have a full team to pick from at the moment so you would've thought he would bust a gut when he gets his chance. Doesn't look like he gives a ****.
 
Van Dijk will go in the summer but hopefully given he has about a million years on his contract he'll go for a fortune.
