Elden Ring

Thanks, I'll follow that.

I've just stumbled across another underwater river system that turns out to be ******* massive so that's kept me occupied!
I’ve been at it over 100 hours and I found a new underground area yesterday. I am amazed that I’m still into this game I normally face burnout after 60 hours and that is a struggle. Not so with this I don’t care if it lasts another 100!

Yeah the subterranean bits that are totally hidden really add to that. I'm only 39 hours. This new one was Ainsel River. Found the map and was like ****!

Had a pop at Malenia today.

Killed her first phase only to be one shotted on her 2nd.

I have 40 vigor…..

Took down Rykard earlier today along with a couple other minor bosses.

Think I have now terminated the Volcano Manor quest line. Ooops!!

This game is so hard! I am at lvl 94 and if I so much get cornered by anything I will still get killed from things that I can on hit kill.

Also, those goddamn giant birds in Caelid…what's with this place. It's like hell on hell.

Caelid is tame :) wait until later if you go to the Haligtree!!

Bought the game a few weeks ago. Am I one of the few who can't settle into a long session with it and only a bit at a time? I am new to the FromSoftware world; enjoying it's open world as a new player at times can be somewhat jarring as someone who likes direction/structure to a game. So far I'm still in Limgrave, been to a couple of caves and beat the Beastmen of Farem Azula and Demi-Humans, and picked up a few bits here and there. Should I just carry on levelling up for a bit more? I've not been near any swamps but the idea of getting ambushed by some big disgusting crab thing horrifies me...

I'm the same, I enjoy it and in my mind I would like to play it more, however by the time I get the kids in bed and asleep at the end of the day when the option is there to play, I often choose not to as I don't think I have the mental strength left in me at the end of the day :D

I can sit and play this for a day straight, with no issues other than my own ineptitude!!

Finished Ranni’s questline yesterday and beat Astel and the glintstone dragon.

Been running around completing Evergaols tonight. They mostly have been really easy except for the assassin ring leader which was a pain in the *

Just mopping up some stuff for now so I can level up and take on the Haligtree properly. It’s one of the “bad ass-iest” places I’ve been to on a souls game.

I’m 146 hours in and still loving it.

I’m about level 100ish.

Could you not use mimic to distract her and just blast her with the Comet Azure?
I was tempted but I'm running a str/dex build and my int is only around 13 or something so would take a hell of an amount of farming to do! :D

There's a good farming spot where I can get around 55k runes in a couple of minutes so might just grind it out.
