Elden Ring

Fair enough, never used it :D

I'm level 200 now so I only level up if I collect over 100,000 runes, when I do I farm that site to get enough to level up otherwise I spend it on Smithing Stones :)

It's slightly different positioning and you have to target and cast very quickly after resting but can do. I kept missing with the bow so found it easier personally.

Anyone know why sometimes when you kill one of those glitter ball thing that gives you a spell or Ashes of War, the ones that runs away…sometimes, they give nothing?

I am following this guide and made my way to this ball, it got away, so i found it spawn just further up and killed it and nothing happened…Checked my inventory, i definitely don’t have what the guide says i should have.

Sure you didn't get it before?

I'm a lowly level 20 now/+6 wpn, working my way around Limgrave. Found a few areas that are definitely bad news, and slowly getting to grips with some of the new mechanics (although all of the ashes of war ice got so far are underwhelming).

I was hoping summoning was a bit more common as running with other players is fun - only seen one sign so far.

Not faced margit yet, just been exploring, done a few catacombs and dungeons, run away from some other dungeons haha.

Beat Rykard last night after a few attempts, still struggling against Maliketh. Tried several approaches, the closest I got was using a Comet Azure build and was right at the end of his health and died as I ran out of flasks :( and all my talismans were aligned to make the spell more powerful!

Get a Talisman that make the bosses attack the person carrying it, I forgot the name but you get it from the Village of the Frenzy Flame.

Put that on yourself, use mimic summon. Then quickly take it off and put something else on. So the boss will concentrate on the Mimic leaving you free to just keep pounding him. Note that if you are closer, the AI will target you regardless but if you are further away, it will target the Mimic carrying it.

Shabiri's Woe? Might have to find that one

Did the cliff jump glitch last night. Can't work out if it's more or less tedious than the bird farming. Tried a few times on Fire Giant, best attempt was about 75% down.

Just a casty one, probably same as most, 80 int, Lusat staff +9, talismans to increase damage etc. I've literally tried him 5 time so don't know how long it will take me.

Was more asking for the rune farming, if you've got Loretta's Bow spell (you should) then you can do it much quicker (and unlimited) vs the bow and arrow way. Boring still yes, but at least quicker and more accurate.
