Elden Ring

Was more asking for the rune farming, if you've got Loretta's Bow spell (you should) then you can do it much quicker (and unlimited) vs the bow and arrow way. Boring still yes, but at least quicker and more accurate.

Ohhhhhhhhh, yeah I was doing it with meteor but its probs slower, I do have that spell.

You can just go to the edge of the cliff right next to the grace, as soon as you get there cast the spell and then lock on. You'll hit the tree, but because of the sound it makes it agros the bird to check out the sound, so immediately cast it again, the second will hit, and plop.

I found it quicker anyway.

I never bother with the bird. With the scarab equipped and the sword you get from beating the final boss you can AOE all those weird looking dudes sitting around and get 70k everytime. The birds a little extra but I found that to be quicker *if* youve beaten the final boss.

I beat that boss last night. Didn’t check out the sword though I’ll give it a go. It’s a pretty great farming area all around that place anyway as the rune returns are so high and there are tons of enemies around.

Maliketh, the Black Blade is extremely difficult! I am finding the first phase alright, the second phase there is no chance, Struggling to even get into a rhythm with him. He deals insane damage and so quick! Playing as a melee two handed strength/endurance build, any tips?

None but I've just got here as well and it's pretty tricky. Probably the first one since Radahn I don't even get close on.
Tried summoning help for first time but I get people worse than me lol. When I got someone decent I died instead.

Maliketh, the Black Blade is no more! Enemy felled! Took me about a week to do it, but the feeling is so good!! Sweaty palms and everything. Just when you think its the boss thats going to stop you from progressing, you persevere and get your reward :D

I think it was just a case of 'I will do it eventually' as I didn't really do anything different...phew

Managed (with help) Elden beast and you know who. Save scummed for ending trophies as no way am I playing through 3 times but then again who knows. I don't feel anywhere near finished.
Just doing dung eater quest line and then I'll try clear up some of the others on a NG+ run.

I am just past Maliketh, I found using the columns to stay away from him and when he attacked my Mimic Tear I ran up behind and got in a few shots. Turns out this was the quickest boss i've defeated. Im level 97 I think

I am now facing the Elden Beast which appears to be the final boss? I still have so much left to do, I need two more Great runes and lots of exploring to do, should I do everything I want to do first? Or can I continue afterwards when if I beat the Elden Beast?

Im at the same spot but have finished almost everything the map has to offer. You get the chance i believe to continue after beating the Elden Beast with your current play through, you do not get forced into NG+ which is an option at the Roundtable hold.

I admit to be struggling with the Elden Beast, phase 1 is ok with Radagon but i have lost count of the amount of times i have ascended the steps to this battle just to be beaten again.

Yep really struggling myself too, it is basically two bosses back to back, I use nearly all my health flasks on Radagon and then i'm left with nothing much else. Hmmm, tricky!!

That boss is quite easy using a bow and poison arrows.

I used normal arrows and just kept moving on Torrent. Some people might not realise that if you two hand your bow by “aiming down sights” as it were, then get on Torrent - you can fire your bow from horseback. You can’t use the charged power shot, but you can use normal shots whilst locked on so you don’t even have to aim it.

Just done the Fire Giant. Didn't find him too bad once I realised I could summon the walking jar guy.

I still have flashbacks of this boss! Lol. I didn’t have any summons available so had to take him down just me and my ashes. Walking Jar Guy is a little OP from what I have read :p

It does go to show that there are so many variables with quest lines and summons though. It sort of feels like every play through is unique, so it keeps it feeling fresh.
