It does go to show that there are so many variables with quest lines and summons though. It sort of feels like every play through is unique, so it keeps it feeling fresh.

I didn't even know they ran out/could not be available or whatever?

Played my one hour session tonight, only managed to kill the sleeping dragon and done Fort Faroth? Took soooo many attempts due to those poisons bats thing and also that giant rat which one hit killed me. At least now I have both side of the seal and can get to the plateau. That means I can run and go get Comet Azure. Will be next task and then figure out how to get to the bird.

Maliketh is no more - took probably 50 attempts trying various things! ended up being a fluke

Now stuck on Godfrey

can get him to the second stage, but the Summons is about dead by then and I just get splattered

Got all the legendary sorceries last night, working on the talismans, and I can't get the weapon one until NG+ as I locked myself out of one and cba arranging someone to drop me it in co-op. Malenia will be the last trophy I get as I kept getting destroyed trying to open the portal with that town light puzzle thingy.

Is this the hidden town in Caelid? I went there and had no idea what to do with all the entries blocked off...I guess I need to go back and light all the alters. That's one of the end game staff is held i think.

No it's a town in the snowfield or plateau. It's similar to the Caelid one. I think that was part of Selina's questline.

Randomly i saw a video on it last night. You get an outfit that makes you walk silent, no footsteps.

Oh I must've missed that. I haven't really changed my armour much aside from head as those give bonuses in some cases.

Sorry no I meant it makes sense for that armour set to to drop there because that's what they are wearing. The people who are after you and shooting arrows at you.

Made it to the big bird farm, took me a while to get the routine right since getting it wrong results him not wanting to jump off but now i've leveled up enough stats now to be able to use all but 1 of the spells that i can get my hands on. The biggest thing that is missing is only 20 strength so can't use any of the big weapons which require 40+ in strength.

40 in vigor, 30 in mind, 65 in Intelligence, 25 endurance with 17/16 in faith and arcane.

Dismissed Godfrey so now onto Radagon and the Elder Beast! I can dispatch Radagon with the Blashphemous blade and a summons, the Beast is another story! I need my summons to make it to the Beast, which they rarely do!

I had to summon some other players for the Elder Beast in the end. Found it too tough to solo.

You can make it on foot, not easy but it’s doable. No summons. Not even magic, just the River of Blood slashes.

It’s much easier as a mage though since you can hit it from miles off with rocks, and when he sits down, Comet Azure him from a distance.

I feel the Elden Beast fight does not suit my Melee build, I am getting annihilated every time, don't even seem to be making any sort of progress just getting smashed to bits, I wont give up though lol

Check out Pewdiepie's no death run, i think he did it using a melee build.

Apparently the Godskin Peeler is the weapon for the Elden Beast, but the special attack has such a long spin up you get mullered easily!
