Elden Ring

Need two more trophies for the plat. Dragon lord wotshisface, nearly got him a few times last night. The legendary weapons one I may enlist someone's aide to drop it for me as I'm not sure I want to do a second playthrough.

Made my way through the tunnel and now made it onto the Plateau now, but i also have the medallion so opened the lift too, just wanted to get the loot in the tunnel. Killed the dragon boss in the tunnel no problem first try but then ran into a dragon when i got out and he one hit killed me!!!

I am level 170 with 49 in Vigor?! Goddamn!

Think i‘lol go back to Rays Lucaria and finish that first.

Just got the plat. 149h, I don't think I'll play through again, had to start Ng+ as I locked myself out of a weapon and beelined for the capital after getting godrick and renalla runes.
Then I discovered I'd missed a weapon in the consecrated snowfield and I used a jump glitch so I didn't have to go and get the halig tree medallions.
Favourite game for a long long time.

I think you know this but you're way OP for the area that you're in

Just heading towards Hailigtree, I can see how people easily miss it, I only 'found' it after looking at how to get a highly rated talisman (the +8% sorcery damage).

Just did a boss there that features in the trailer; the skull headed serpent thing in one of the tunnels. Took me a good few attempts but got there in the end!

Otherwise I'm in the crumbling place as far as the narrative goes.

Oh yeah, but this game still managed to knock me down a peg regardless which is why I like it. I’ll come back later and boss that dragon…

Fair play to you. I’m playing it super casual doubt if I’ll ever plat it.

I think he moved around the open world, it’s a white one that does red lighting bolts. He just swoops down and surprised me.

Also... what tunnel?!

You access through the lake water level and head towards the lift but parallel to the same direction. At the end of that dead end is some ladders up to a cave and you come up to the plateau that way without having the medallion.

I’m currently watching a video where the guy’s entire aim is to go through the game 1 hit kill every single boss. For bosses with multiple phases the rule is 1 hit for phase change.

It’s interesting to see and learn what he uses for buffs to increase his damage. One of the key one he uses is one of the buff requires his character to have less than 20% health to get 80% increase in damage. Another is to poison himself at the start of the fight to get a buff.

He even done it to the Fire Giant, 32min)

Hugely enjoying this, avourite game I've played in many years. I'd certainly echo the community cries for a quest log - not having one doesn't help people who play bits when they can. Other than that I'm not sure there's a whole lot I'd change. Gear seems largely irrelevant and altering gear even more so, but it doesn't detract from the game at all.

Currently level 45 samurai working through lakes but have dabbled in altus and caelid too.

Radagon and Elden Beast down!!!:D:cool: Cannot believe I managed to get them, took me a ridiculous amount of time and effort, never thought I was going to do it. I found them insanely tricky especially the amount of damage Radagon dealt with in the first phase, then to face the Elden Beast...

I need a beer to relax.

Well done, i was a bag of nerves by the time i managed to do this, enjoy that beer, its well deserved.

I'm still amazed at how big this game is and how difficult is to work out what you're meant to do next. I'm using a checklist and looking at the map and thinking 'that looks like ruins I've not been to' and popping there for an encounter or two. Did Black Knife Assassin and got taken to Volcan Manor last night, I really hate the Maidens.

Struggling with Radagon and the Beast, so looked up some builds to try, Blood doesn't do anything :D but made an interesting build, back to Intelligence and Strength build as I prefer that, melee when I can with strength and ranged spells - while i try that I will rune farm the bird and enemies nearby to get up a few levels. Might have to go searching for Larvel Tears soon as well :)

In doing the builds I am finding some interesting places, talismans etc. but a lot are no longer in reach due to finishing missions or killing area bosses :(

I have a tanky strength build and found the Royal Knight's Resolve skill a massive help, using a Claymore +25 could get a real chunk of damage with that skill

Every souls game has the enemies that I struggle with at first and then end up learning the patterns or levelling past them and coming to terms with them. I am level 275 and 190 hours in and I still run past them!

Are any other filthy casuals here using online guides purely to remind themselves what an NPC said alst about where they'd be or what to do? Absolutely loving this game but the lack of recorded information is a right pain. Even if it was just a conversation log like the messages log you get for world scriptstones would be great.

Anyone agree or am I just too casual?
