yes - sounds like technique problem - do need a mirror , the way you move brush on tooth surface matters.
eg. rotating brush both on a horizontal and vertical planes across back of front teeth - agree that is the hardest place to clean, though

I use a mirror, I do it exactly how they show in the oralb video

The Oral-B ones aren't as good as they used to be. My first one lasted nearly 20 years before the battery wouldn't last more than 2 days yet the one I bought to replace it not quite 18 months ago was already down to 2.5 days (5x 2 min cycles and yes I was following their guidlines about charging). I contacted them for a warranty repair and they sent me a post paid label to send it off to them. I sent it off for repair/replacement on Thursday 31st March and they received it the next day. They updated me by text message that they had got it and at every stage after that. Monday 4th April I got a text to say my repaired toothbrush was in the post (1st class) and got it on Tuesday 5th April so 6 days including a weekend from applying for a RMA to receiving a replacement. Now that is fantastic service!! They actually replaced the whole base unit for the current equivalent of the 650 Pro that I sent them. Let's see how long this one last's.

As for brushheads, I change mine every three months. Same for my ultrasonic brush. I use the Oral-B in the mornings and the ultrasonic before bed.

***Top tip*** For those with a ultrasonic toothbrush who uses watercooling. If you keep hold of a old brush head these ultrasonic toothbrushes are excellent at cleaning between the fins of waterblocks. It even get's the crud out of the fine fins on cpu blocks.

I bought a "DrDent Premium Sonic Electric Toothbrush" from Amazon in January after using Oral B electric brushes for the last 15 years.

I am amazed at the battery life on this thing - it came charged, I use it for the 2 minute timer twice a day and over 3 months later it still shows as having a 2/3 charge!

It has multiple cleaning modes and really leaves your mouth feeling clean.

Can't recommend it highly enough and it's only £30... won't be going back to Oral B!

That's similar to mine. I bought a Mornwell sonic toothbrush last August which came with 8x spare brush heads, a travel case and also has multiple modes. Like your's mine arrived fully charged and the battery life is amazing with a charge lasting as long as three months. The best part is that I only paid £16.50 for it. The price has massively increased to £29.79 now. It's a good brush but I am not sure I would have spent that much on a unkown brand.

Not been to a densit for 20 years, got one of those io10's last week actually.
Visiting endodontics specialist tomorrow morning to checkout tooth before capping it, then back to dentist for 2x more visits for various fillings. Possibly removing both wisdom teeth for a 3rd visit.

Pain stopped over weekend after 3 weeks of joy, maybe the blasting of anti-bacterial mouthwash 6x a day and ibuprofen sorted it?

Not a single dentist would take me on in my town, beit NHS or private so in the end went with one near work that everyone uses then claimed off works dental cover. Almost all had said wait until April, lol.

Nothing comes close to the io toothbrush imo. Bought ours a couple of years ago in a sale. The magnetic tech is a game changer. Don’t use the coach, but combined with a water flosser have barely even had any plaque since. I’ve actually reduced dental cleans as a result. On maximum the clean is insane.

£371 hadn't heard of them , but seems they are just more energy efficient and quieter than my 20 year old OralB-pro, which I could replace for £30, probably spent £250 on brush heads.

The drive system inside the new Oral-B iO electric toothbrush has been transformed, from a typical mechanical motor with gears, to a new frictionless magnetic drive. This new linear magnetic drive distributes energy evenly to the tips of the bristles, without any energy loss or sound. This results in a smooth and super quiet experience.

... stopped rinsing about 6 months ago, that has a very noticeable effect on tartar/smoothness on front incisors .. wish someone had told me that 20 years ago.

I don’t rinse after brushing my teeth or after using mouth wash, then I don’t drink for at least 30 minutes afterwards. It’s not good to swallow mouth wash but a little is ok.
