Energy Suppliers

Not sure.

Some more of their benefits:
-3% interest reward on credit balance
-No minimum term or exit fees
Found it ( Birmingham-based Tonik Energy launched in 2016 )
Sounds good and the reviews look OK, the price seam to be one of the cheapest.
What will the referral get us ?

Heard good things about Tonik. I was going to switch to them, but went with Bulb in the end. They worked out best for me with cashback and referral bonuses. Flawless service so far.

Changing from SoEnergy to Together this year. So glad it's as easy as it is to change from one to another otherwise it would get so tedious.

I think I will go with Tonik sees the cheapest quote so far.

I looked at Bulb but I could not see anywhere when creating a quote to add my own usage in so that discounted them.

If I do I will grab that link you posted above so we both get vouchers :)

So am currently looking to change provider as I am moving house and am looking at OVO, Bulb or Tonik. Out of curiosity, have any of you with either of these companies opted to pay extra to have more renewable energy sources or offset the carbon emissions?

Also has anyone taken a look at the Tonik Solar panels + Battery?

Tonik and Bulb only do 100% renewable IIRC (either offset or from renewable sources). OVO gives you a choice to go green. I'm with Tonik (see above), they worked out the cheapest 100% renewable which is what I wanted to go for (a couple of quid a month more than coal etc).

Not seen the Tonik panels and battery but that setup will be quite common in the near future (Tesla are doing it too).

With Bulb here. 100% renewable.

The 100% renewable only applies to the Electricity though right? The option extra I referred too with Tonik is in regards to the Gas tarrifs I believe and of course the offset with OVO.

In the process of switching to Bulb at the moment - and will be a substantial saving if the estimates are accurate (around £450 off EDF standard tariff)

All been quite painless so far.

Together Energy seem to be letting me down, not heard anything from them about supplying meter readings. Yet they have taken the first payment.
They aren't answering the phones or replying to emails. I wonder if its a case of a mass load of people signing up so they're bogged down.

Sent an email to my previous supplier to find out if they have ceased supplying me at least otherwise i'm paying for two.

I just noticed I got a slapped wrist for posting a referral link. Forgot that they were outlawed. Maybe there would be an argument for legitimising them, having them on a sticky list, instructions are to use the link at the top, when you use it you post that you've used (link), then it gets put to the bottom of the list.

Just a heads up but we had a email from Bulb a couple of weeks ago that they are likely to be increasing their prices in March. Just as well there are no fee's for leaving them but usually when one increases prices they all do. Money supermarkets energy saving club keeps putting Outfox the market as my cheapest option now at £85 per year cheaper than Bulb but I am really not comfortable going with such a new company. Been there before and got stung with abysmal customer service as more and more joined. They also have a group switch going on with EDF and another company but I really can't see why they are bothering as they are both significantly more expensive than Bulb for me. I will never go back to EDF and their useless customer service anyway.
