England V India ***Clash of the Heavyweights*** Test, T20 and ODI Series

This is why I could never be more than a part-time cricket viewer. Would it cause any serious problem if they extended the cut-off time by 15 minutes and played the final 7 balls of the match?

That has put another downer on my day :(

India's now playing amazing cricket, but still not winning. What are my tears worth, for what must I sacrifice the honour of being an Indian cricket fan?

Don't quite understand how 270 was the par score to be honest. England had Finn and Anderson about to bat, and they needed 11 off 7. I'd most certainly say advantage India.

Draw :(

England win series :)

Amazing absolutely amazing that India yet again got royally shafted up their backsides with the rain...im no Indian fan but geez gotta feel for them at the moment, their squad is severely depleted with no Sachin, Gambhir, Sehwag and Yuvraj...is it any wonder England are just rolling them over left right and centre:(.

Commiserations to TC dude...seriously this has been one absolutely atrocious tour for India, it really has....feel bad for you fella as India are a much better squad than what is out there now at the moment.

They were only 8 down and the Duckworth-Lewis system seems to assume that all 11 batsmen in every team can bat and score runs. Something that neither Anderson or Finn do very well. I agree that target was rather low but not much you can do about it, I don't think the Indian cricket board are allowed to refuse the use of D/L...

Certainly with 11 off 7 required 270-8 does seem pretty generous, couldn't imagine the 2 batsmen in would have got that total more than 25% of the time if that.

Of course even more unluckily for India Broad probably couldn't have batted so technically England were 9 down!

Funny how when your luck doesn't seem to be in nothing falls your way, arguably India would have won both the rain affected games yet are 2-0 down and have lost the series......ah well :p

Thanks bud. The main thing I've done this summer is hold my head in my hands and cry. I have no idea how it ended up this way, I really don't. :(

Why Zaheer, why?

ODI Team of the year announced:

MS Dhoni (capt & wk), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Virender Sehwag, Kumar Sangakkara, AB de Villiers, Shane Watson, Yuvraj Singh, Graeme Swann, Umar Gul, Dale Steyn, Zaheer Khan, 12th Man - Lasith Malinga

Yeh against lowly Zimbabwe lol...the other day we beat them by 5 runs...our problem is we take the rubbish teams too lightly and take the better teams even more lightly lol.

At least you're winning matches!

At the end of the day (to paraphrase almost all footballers!) it's just a game and a competition. When England lose it's just another day, and whatever I'm doing is more important - although this could be because England losing is more the status quo :p

ODI's are dragging on a bit - the County Championship final matches seem to be much more interesting at the moment!

If India were playing amazing cricket then they would be winning! Sure, the weather has played its part but India are still pretty average.

If you are crying over cricket then I suggest you need to get a grip on things!

But cricket is my life bro!

They have been awful in the test series, but I think India's been the better team in the ODIs to be honest.
