Seriously, when plumb LBW shouts are given not out, and big inside edges are given out, forget the DRS, the quality of umpiring seriously needs to be looked at.

Surely it could be helped by putting DRS into place though? What is your argument against using it? I've seen you say that you don't think it improves things necessarily, but you haven't shown why it's better to not use it than to use it.

I don't have anything against it necessarily, but at the moment I think that the priority should be to make sure the standard of umpiring is up to scratch, as it isn't at the moment.
Also LOL, I've been reliably informed that England's the best fielding team in the world, yet all I see is dropped catches everywhere

I agree, between him and Dravid I'd say, depending on how the rest of the series goes.
Yet England have still had more bad umpire decisions about 6-1 so far
Either way, I think that the standard of umpiring desperately needs to improve.
On another note, I tuned into TMS for the first time this series. I must say, much better than the crap that Sky Sports is churning out, and as good as the Star Sports coverage
