There was every need for it. Despicable sportsmanship to begin with, but the correct outcome achieved in the end, well done to him for making the right choice.

As I say, I really like India. They're a great side and a pleasure to watch. Really didn't want to have that negative feeling about them.

Well played India, the umpires are still guilty of pretty shocking incompetence for allowing it to happen on their watch however.

Indeed, it's a shame it was allowed to happen, but in the end India made the right call and we can put it all behind us and enjoy what should be another great game.

Just like Strauss was in his right to deny a runner for Smith.

It should have been dealt with on the pitch, thats the fact of the matter.

Why are they? India appealed, they applied the law - simple as that. Christ, a bit of objectivity.
