England V India ***Clash of the Heavyweights*** Test, T20 and ODI Series

This is what annoys the hell out of me about Cricket.. the damn weather.
Without rain yesterday its not unbelievable that we could have ended the day on 200-250 for 2 or such.
Grrr

Who is this team, and what have they done with India?

In all honesty, this is the real India. The one that the English doesn't know about. The team that put in the effort to get to the top. Not the pos that has thus far turned up in the series. I'm surprised they've bowled this tightly without Zaheer.

Now they just need to rewind and do this from the start of the series.

Might be a bit early to say that, India's had us in this position before in this series but Bell, KP, Prior and the Bowlers have stepped up.

Yeah, but in those cases eg: 124/8 wasn't quite the same IMO. That was Indians making exemplary use of the extreme swing on offer. Here, it's not down to huge amount of swing, but good, accurate bowling and good fielding. The only other instance I can remember of this was teh first innings at Lord's.

I sense a double hundred coming from one of our lower order to further drain Indian morale then ;)

Also worth noting that other then one score each (the insane one for Cook in Brum, and the 70 odd for Strauss) our openers have pretty much consistently failed.
So this position is one we should be comfortable with heh

I would disagree with you, but if I do, then England will get 600 :o

Hehe :)
For a score of the 500+ region we need Bell or KP to survive the day out and carry on tomorrow. Don't fancy our chances of a huge score with Bopara, Morgan, Prior next in ... too aggressive as a collective without one of our top order players to bat through, imo.

But i might be completely wrong! we could be all out for 250 or 700 for 8 again, who knows really.
