England vs India Test & ODI Series *SPOILERS*

Anil Kumble has made his century, first Indian batsman on this tour to make one. I can imagine him taking the **** when he gets back to talk to Dhoni, Karthik and Tendulkar :D

An amazing scorecard as well, a real team effort. 655/9 at the moment. Time to declare I reckon, I can't see England winning this match now. I also can't see India winning tbh as it looks an easy pitch to bat on.

664 all out in the end with Kumble 110*

England 24/1 with Strauss the getting out. I still think England will post a score of 400+ though on this wicket. I think Dhoni's innings might of taken this match away from England though, think it might of broke a few spirits within the England team but you never know. Dhoni doing what Gilchrist has been doing for years now, taking a very good score which can be caught and propelling the team to a score which almost takes it away from the other team

Dear oh dear oh dear oh dear India absolutely thrashed England today...over 600 runs:eek: with Kumble the spinner making a century:eek:. Dhoni was devastating after he passed his half century..was well on his way to get the century but got caught off KP's bowling.

Cant see England winning this game tbh, i think India have well and truly taken the game out of Englands hand now. England will have to bat out of their skins to avoid the follow on and losing Strauss as an early wicket hasnt helped them.

Looking forward to a good game tommorrow, never know England could possibly pull off a miraculous victory but sadly i dont think its going to happen.

Well done to India though for a superb demolition job, England on course for their first series defeat in 6 yrs which isnt too bad considering that at one point England were pretty dire in Test cricket.

England 124/4 at lunch, they need a monster of an innings by Pietersen and Collingwood/Bell or they might be following on.

BTW where is Big Kev and JohnnyG  :D

LOL awfully quiet today arent they??:p

Looks like England wont be able to avoid the follow on, which basically means the game and series is India's for the taking...cant really see Monty and Tremlett getting another 100 odd runs to avoid it.

Feel sorry for England, they really have been out-played by India so far in all 3 Tests..even the first one at Lords where they held out for the draw. Highlight of the day for me was KP getting out by Tendulkar:p...what an atrocious shot he played...beggars belief tbh.

Even a draw wont help them save the series...shameful cricket from England...i was under the impression that England would have steamrollered them in the Tests quite convincingly.

Out played in 2 ... ever since India clung on to the test at Lords England have stunk .. Anderson in particular .. he has just conceded so many runs

Not exactly a good performance in the last two tests, thoroughly outplayed and I fully expect us to be put in tomorrow and to lose by an innings, which isn't what I expected before the series started.

I think India took a lot out of grabbing the draw in the first test and haven't looked back since, whereas we seemed to lose a lot after losing out.

We now realise that our second string bowling line up just isn't up to the task and the sooner Harmison, Hoggard and Flintoff get back in the team, the better, although it looks like we're probably not see Jones again for a while, if ever.

I think thats where England have really suffered, not having Harmy, Flintoff and Hoggard hasnt helped you in this series.

As for Jones??, i heard yet again hes injured...tore a calf or something the other day...quite shocking at how hes become Englands Mr sicknote...i wonder if he still has a central contract with England...if so think its time to rip it up if he cant keep himself fit in order to play for England. How id love to be paid for not playing:p...

To be fair .. Tremlett and Sidebottom have done quite well in my view .. though only Sidebottom stands out in this particular test (or rather, hes the one who didn't go for as many runs) ..

Panesar has been really disappointing .. even on a dusty track where the ball was breaking the surface he couldn't get wickets or keep it tight ..

Anderson though ... dreadful

Oooh India decided not to enforce the follow on, surprised at that decision tbh. Funnily enough they go into bat and promptly lose 3 quick wickets lol:p. Tendulkar, Karthik and Jaffer all lost their wickets...

I'm bemused by India not enforcing the follow on and what they were trying to achieve by not doing so.

Possibly to get a few more hundred runs on the board therefore making it near impossible for England to even get close to the target...even with a day and a half worth of batting...im thinking the Indians will declare just after tea.

Even though India lost 3 quick wickets, Ganguly has made a sublime 50 with Dravid just taking his time...last i looked he was 5 runs from 60 balls or something:eek::p....thats just taking Test cricket to another level...no wonder hes called the Wall lol.

EDIT: Ganguly gone for 57 and Dravid has made a pathetic 6 from 82 balls lmao. Now thats a captains innings if ive ever seen one...:/

500 to win for England, pretty big total but England could sneak a victory depending on how well they play tommorrow. Would have thought India would have played till the end of today but they decided to declare and leave Laxman not getting his second fifty...

Should be interesting to watch tommorrow. England will need a stormer of a day tommorrow to win this match.

India want to win the game and give themselves as much time as possible to bowl England out, so declaring when they did, gave them some time to take a couple of wickets.

We will have to break the world record to win the game now and I can't see that happening, it just depends whether we'll go for it or just try and bat the day out.

Just seen Sachin's dismissal, beautiful ball. :D

We dont want to save the game we need to win it .. I'd rather lose 2 nil going for the win to level the series than lose 1 nil ... fight to save our home record!
