English, CL & Europa League Football [12th - 18th Mar 2010] **spoilers**

I love Jose, really miss him in the EPL. Nothing against chelsea but I'd love to see him win the champions league with inter.

Huge mistake to have got rid of him, to all but Manu.

I wouldn't say Inter are favorites now.

I do

Arsenal I think although can beat anyone on their day I think would struggle against an Inter Milan

Barca history says wont retain it as no team has previously

Bayern just aren't good enough IMO

CSKA dont be silly

Lyon see Bayern

Us...... well maybe we're joint favourites, I've thought all along that we'll reach at least the finals :D

They only showed one replay(before the end, didn't watch after the game) of the Drogba incident all from the same angle. Seemed very clear that Motta just absolutely ran into Drogba to start it all off. I really couldn't tell if he stamped on Motta after, if he caught him because he was stumbling after Motta tried to knock him down, or if there was even any bad contact.

Was it definately a purposeful stamp, or was it an off balance Drogba with no where else to put his foot?

Sky showed Drogba stamping on Motta's ankle / leg. Looked like a stamp, not Drogba losing his balance.

Arsenal won't win it, they'll come unstuck against a side that understands how to play them. Chelsea / United are two teams who have cracked it.

Bayern are a wild card, they could do something.

Llyon are a good side, good enough to win the competition? not sure.

United and Barca are still favorites imo.

I'm hoping that the next round throws out this

United v CSKA :D
Inter v Barca
Arsenal v Bayern
Lyon v Bordeaux

There's only United left who definitely would though. Inter and Barca both could, but the latter would be fairly open, and the former, well, I just don't know.

Watching the CL instead of going to your local game cheets? Plastic. :p

Cant afford it, call me plastic, I will admit to not going due to working weekends and thus pointless have a ST and £22 doesnt grow on trees, we all dont earn £28 an hour and live in London.

You'd have gotten in to the Wigan game for free as well :p

They need fans so much they're giving away tickets :D

Aye for kids

I'm hoping Barcelona get knocked out tomorrow, if they don't I hope we face them over two legs. :p

Would certainly be better to play them over two legs than in another final

Balls to it we've got Wayne Rooney bring on anyone! :D

Would you say utd are better or worse since then?

favourites for me Barca, Inter, Utd, Arsenal in that order.

Barca dont look quite right this season, maybe a bit harsh to judge after all last season they were EPIC.

So far this season Henry hasnt been the same not sure how well Pedro/Jeffron will do latter stages of the competition, Keita is still out I think and they swapped Eto'o for Ibra who as we all know doesnt fair well on big stage.

Inter have to be one of the favs, they are just so solid as a unit. UTD/Barca/Inter I cant see anyone else doing it really but I guess it depends on the next draw.

I'd say we're better and Barca are worse

We're better as we're playing our best out and out striker as a striker rather than playing him wide and our best winger (post sense) up front on his own

Barca haven't been anywhere near as good without Eto'o as the spearhead of their front 3. Zlatan & Henry just doesn't worry me at all whereas last season Eto'o and Messi certainly did and it proved correctly so

I have to say I don't think I've ever been pleased for a UK side to ever be knocked out of Europe but Chelsea definitely had it coming this season.
