English Football [1st - 5th May 2010] **spoilers**

Nicely done Spurs. Congratulations! Hopefully CL football awaits and you don't get knocked out in the qualification rounds. :p

Wouldnt be surprised in all honesty...the way we have rolled over against lesser teams in the past few weeks ie Wigan and Blackburn.

Hopefully Burnley will beat Spuds on the last day...City to win to take 4th and Arsenal win to take 3rd....lol

In all honesty Arsenal shouldnt be fighting to keep 3rd place...whoever said we had a easy run in must have cursed us:p.

At least it adds some nerves to the last game for us. We still get champions league football either way but I think we should have secured 3rd a few games ago.

PLEASE SIGN SOME PLAYERS IN THE SUMMER MR WENGER!

That wouldnt surprise me if City sacked him...seems to be the way with these rich clubs ie Chelski being the other culprit.

Would be a shame as he seems like a good character. Hope they don't turn into another Chelsea going through managers because they aren't getting instant success.

we can finally say that when spurs lose in the champions league their fans no longer turn their playstations off!

congratulations you yiddos!

2158: Craig Bellamy wears a huge grin as he shakes hands with Spurs boss Harry Redknapp. Interesting... And it will be interesting to see who's still at Eastlands next season. Bellamy? Tevez? Mancini?

Hmmmmmmmm.

You beauty! Super Tottenham!

To me, it looked like city had far more of the ball than the posession stats showed!

So, who will manage City next season? ....

^^ Thought that was Belamy in the white top at the end! He will be at the Lane next season

True but coming in 4th means we have to qualify for the group stages...which shouldnt be too big a problem....hopefully we will win against Fulham and let Spuds try and qualify for the group stages...which hopefully they wont:p.

But yes we should have had 3rd place sewn up at Blackburn :/

And he definitely needs to sign players...if he doesnt then hes lost the plot because im sure City are going to make some big signings along with Chelski and Utd if they can afford it...wouldnt be surprised if the Spuds make a few big signings too.

Agree with some others, well done Spurs, can't stand Harry, but it was Mancini that threw it away completely.

Vieira, in a game they desparately needed some creativity in midfield, he has been utter turd since they got him, unless its against Burnley. LIkewise SWP, who has been awful, who is completely and utterly lazy, who chases nothing and puts in no defensive effort at all. The goal came after an attack down Spurs left, where Zabaleta was left against Bale and Ekoto with no help in the slightest, this was not 5 minutes after one of their fittest and fastest players came on, who wasn't caught miles upfield, whose faster than Ekoto and Bale, but just didn't bother to help.

He was awful offensively aswell as massively culpable defensively for the goal.

I would imagine Spurs fans would be insane with anger if CIty won, won the next game and they lost out on CL due to a truly excellent showing by Fulop.

Also well done to Spurs for going with a proper midfield, Mancini in charge would have started Palacios and Huddlestone and lost the game, Redknapp at least wanted to win the game and didn't come for a draw. Frankly though Spurs haven't won it, but been handed the 4th by Mancini, dropped Bellamy for a few games they played badly in, playing Ade despite the team being infinately better without him, refusing to play anyone creative/good in central midfield, insisting on 4-5-1 till it was clear it wasn't going to work, putting on SWP in several games has cost them more than the 3 points tonight.

City were a team under Hughes, were improving the whole time and would easily have had a much better second half to the season, he wasn't overly defensive, wasn't upsetting players and would likely have got them 4th.

Mancini made every possible incorrect decision he could tonight and it cost them. Two defensive midfielders doesn't win titles in any league, SWP, like Theo, shouldn't set foot on a pitch.

I will laugh if Spurs go out before the group stages having played some awful no hoper team when they would probably have played bigger and better games in the Europa league.

We don't want Bellamy! Nice to see he still fights with his team mates.
