English League & European Football [27th Mar - 1st Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Almunia, the muppet, I think I mentioned Birmingham away would NOT be an easy game for Arsenal and that people who think our run in is easy, are deluding themselves.

Awful keeping again though and we've had money to spend every single year, and the massive majority or ARsenal fans could see Almunia was never going to be good enough for 4 years.

Not a great game, Theo Walcott was utterly ineffective as a right midfielder, he almost got onto two balls in behind that weren't really for him, first he should have taken around the keeper but flicked it right at him. Denilson just doesn't offer us any defensive cover.

Were we instantly better when Theo walcott was off the pitch, yup, was that with a not very fast, not really a winger Nasri on, yup. 4-4-2, playing Theo as a Striker, or one of our other players who never get a look.

Should be 4 points off the lead, 3 off Chelsea in a couple more hours, with a massively worse goal difference, after today Chelsea have a 13 better goal difference than us.

Nice one Villa it helps with the goal difference:

Zola's got to be sacked now. He's awful.

HAving a look at todays starting squad, Noble, Parker, Dyer, Da Costa, Faubert, Mido and Cole are all not match fit, almost all coming back from injuries. Parker has been played loads and has looked burned out for several games and has been barely moving 50mins into every performance. On the bench they had the not match fit McCarthy, Illan, Gabbidon, the woeful Kovac and Diamanti whose match fit but also can barely play a half without looking tired as heck.

West Ham have had one of the worst injury lists this season with, of late, half his decent players out for more than a few games.

Same shots on target as a fairly solid and fit team, more shots off target, should have got a goal but as said, Cole isn't close to fit and they are playing a different strike partnership every single game with non match fit strikers coming.

They lost one of their best CB's in summer, Illunga has been injured loads, Cole has been injured and hasn't had a partner all season, Noble and Behrami have missed a lot of football. Parker has been out injured for a long time and he's maybe their most important player, he's playing injured in desperation rather than being better afaik.

The only thing Zola has completely wrong is Kovac, played him loads and he's absolutely terrible. No idea why Nouble was sent out on loan as he was just starting to get very very good.

What a brilliant day of football. Chelsea beating 4th place contenders 7-1, Arsenal drawing from a brilliant goal thanks to Kevin Phillip's face, West Ham loosing and united traveling without Rooney :D

If you really think we're 4th place contenders then you're living on another planet, even before today we were well out of it.

He's a Chelsea fan and will do anything to make the 7-1 win more incredible by stating the team are a formidable team that they beat.

Nothing personal Gustov, I'm sure any other teams fan would do the exact same if it was the same situation for them.

AKA Pool, Arsenal etc beating them 7-1, would have the same reaction from their fans.

Example: Utd, Roma.
