English League & European Football [2nd Apr - 8th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

As Im sure you WELL know that isnt necessarily true

the player has to KNOWINGLY use his hand, from that distance he couldnt have got out fo the way

Drogba also used his hand to defend a goal today - but I wouldnt say that was necessarily on purpose and would have been a harsh penalty

This rule changes every time someone wants it to, it does NOT have to be intentional to be a handball, ever. Intent merely changes how its punished, accidental handball goal, no goal, no punishment, intended handball to score, no goal, yellow card.

Likewise, penaltys are a punishment in general, intended handball by a defender, red card and penalty, accidental handball that prevents a goal, penalty no punishment, accidental handball that has no consequence on the game, play on.

Never a penalty for the 2nd goal. :( Seriously missing our 3 English CB's, first goal was poor defending from a corner.

Meh :(

Wednesday losing.

Still, a lot of time left for something to happen.

Bent scored two against Spurs? :D

Newcastle could well be going up today, they're now 2-1 up away at Newcastle.

Spurs losing and us winning is an absolute MUST result today.

Leeds 0-3 Swindon

Talk about blowing it!

ANOTHER penalty for Sunderland! Saved again!! Bent's not going to get this hat-trick lol

What about Fat Frank's foul on Berbatov in the box towards the end of the first half? That was more of a penalty than the other two imo.

unless you are talking about a different incident that was a superb tackle where he clearly got the ball

maybe you can argue the Park one ( though he was looking for it ) but the Berbatov ove doesn't even merit debate

Bent has another penalty saved!!!

Hahaha :D Poor old Bent is never going to get his hat trick.

Thats not even up for discussion imo, good tackle.

Park's was a foul, he went down arms waving though.
The "tackle" on Anelka was a foul.

The Drogba goal was offside, Macheda's goal was handball.

Meh.

Manchester United didn't play well enough to warrent much, Yes much better second half.
