English League & European Football [2nd Apr - 8th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Lets take a break from the trolling and referee discussion to talk about Nani. How well did he take his finishes tonight, he is going to be a top class winger if he keeps up this level of effort. Not just his attacking play but his chasing the ball down and tracking back has improved immeasurably :)

Can I post the Keown and Arsneal hounding Ruud :D

Saying Andrew lmao you sad ****

You lost on AGG, you cant score 3 at home then lose and start blaming the ref.

I won't even bother Andrew, you will only get upset and pussy out anyway.

I miss the "can't we just be friends" PM's you send me.

I can blame what I want, like when you blame every Wigan loss on Arsenal being cheats :D

Indeed, I was very impressed with him.

Was also impressed once more with Valencia, superb wingers in all honesty, only going to get better.

Nani's got a lot of ability but he's amazingly inconsistent, still think's he's far better than he is and has got a face you want to hit (Gibson and Valencia have too).

Now lets talk about Robben's goal :p

Why cant we be friends, I am not bitter, just telling it how I saw it.

second half I didn't see anything from United apart from a few counter attacks, very poor. 4 chances and 3 goals.

It was a cracking strike but it was quite fortunate, an inch to the right and it would have hit Carrick. Still amazing technique though. Pity the rest of his game was pretty poor tonight, just seems quite ineffective on the right wing.

He was superb, and if he can keep it up Nani-Rooney-Valencia looks a good front three. We are short in the centre of midfield still but Nani is like a new signing, I hope he can keep it up!

On another note, Evra looks knackered. I'd have O'Shea at left back against Blackburn personally to give him a break.

Agree about him being ineffective on the right but I wouldn't say he was poor. He beat Evra on quite a few occasions but kept having to cut back inside on his left and tbf to him, came close a couple of times before the goal.

I know it's fashionable to play left footers on the right and vice versa but it was crying out for Ribery and Robben to swap tonight.

I think the problem is Robben has no right foot where as Ribery looked competent whether he was cutting inside or pushing it down the line. Robben would push it down the line then either pass it across the goal to a United player or be forced to cut it back to Lahm. It definitely doesn't make the best use of his skills.

Not sure why there's so much hate for the ref from some quarters, I've seen far worse. Let players play on when there was no foul and he certainly wasn't lenient on Bayern when you consider what Valencia and Vidic got away with in the second half.

Rafael will learn from that one hopes, in the first half he got booked 80 yards from his own goal for a petulant kick out after being tackled. Those are the sort of cards that must really irk managers, fair enough if you take someone out to stop a break, but there was absolutely no need to foul him there.

Man U fans moaning about players trying to influence the ref? Jesus.:o

I can understand people being frustated, but c'mon, Man U players have been doing this for many a year now and much worse than most teams.

Lol spot on...its not like Utd have had their fair instances of influencing the refs in the past.

There is some bitter down right ****ing idiots on this forum.

Oh dear lol...dont think anyone is coming as bitter as you Gimp in all honesty.

Anyhow its been a perfect evening for me to say the least...after the mauling we got last night i have to say i quite enjoyed tonights match.
