English League & F.A. Cup Football [19th - 24th Mar 2010] **spoilers**

Sums the two clubs up really

We're after our 4th title
They were just after their 4th win in a row against us

:)

the only attempt spuds had in the 2nd half, if you can call it a attempt was benayoun with that fail header, deserved it in the end.

Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination but we moved the ball round better and were the more attacking side. Man of the match, hard to say but I think Fletcher for his sheer persistence.

I think if Liverpool would have started with Gerrard then they probably would have won the game. Anyone know why Captain Awol didn't start today

Nothing performance from us in the 2nd half. That and the penalty decision cost us today.

Got to make sure we forget about this and kick on now, we may be in a **** position now but our run-in is the easiest so who knows.

Fletch, Park, Rooney, Valencia, Vidic all 9's in brilliant IMO

Only players who didn't play at that well today were Nani & Carrick (again IMO)

There's another score to add to your sig Rotty, 2-1. Facht. :D

I think we should resurrect one of Rottys best threads, but with a twist instead of "lets all laugh at United" lets all laugh at Liverpool.

Ho.
Ho.
Ho.

Get your flights and hotel tickets booked for some god forsaken town in the middle of eastern europe now as Liverpools adventures though the channel 5 cup are guaranteed for another season.

Credit where it's due United wanted it more, don't think Liverpool were terrible, lacked creative output and Aquilani should have been on earlier, mascherano shouldn't have been so undisciplined to give away the penalty. Very humble in victory some of you guys :-P

Overall after a promising start I felt that the game degraded into sloppy football from both teams. Could have gone either way but went to Utd in the end.

Utd back to the top (though I still fancy Chelsea to win the title)

Liverpool...well...time running out and things looking more and more bleak. Spurs, Man City and Villa all have games in hand. As it stands, its looking entirely plausible that Liverpool could end as low as 7th. A finish that low would surely spell disaster on a huge scale for the immediate future. Not good at all.
