Great performance by the massive premier league club Wigan, did well to keep it at 6. Hope Martinez remembered the lube ;)

@ Skip, just saw the Spurs game on sky, didn't cross the line imo, was a foul on the keeper as well.

Yes, nobody saw 4+ goals coming, I did in the first half.
 
A nice 6 goal thrashing by Arsenal on the new boys Blackpool, welcome to the Prem league lol...think they will struggle against the top 3 teams this season.

Quite shocked and surprised by Walcott getting a hattrick...shame he cant do that against the better teams...was nice to see Chamakh get his goal for Arsenal today...played well.

All in all a decent performance by us after our first game against Liverspuds where we drew 1-1.

Walcott was playing behind ChamWOW! I hear? About time he played as a forward then.
 
Of course they will find it a struggle against the top 3 clubs, even the established EPL sides would. :p

I think Walcott getting a trick was about where he played as well, he was in and around the box a lot, their poor defending would have boosted his confidence but still, he was more central than out wide for a fair period of the game, he still made some absolutely stinking decisions though and he needs to sort that out ASAP because his pace is a genuine weapon to be used against other teams.

Nice for Chamakh and Arshavin to open their EPL accounts for this season. I think Arshavin needed that penalty, he was looking pretty downbeat in the Liverpool game and a lot of times during the Blackpool match he could be seen just walking around not even interested in the game, although it was a much better performance from him. Rosicky looked great and let's hope he gives us more performances like that, good passing and movement and most things went through him. It's imperative that we sign another defender though, we cannot be relying on Song to play back there, he's much too much of a liability.
