Quite a while being 3 years as you previously stated? So in the past three years (that would be the 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons) we've been in 2 Champions League finals (winning one of them), won the league twice, the Carling Cup twice, and the Club World Cup. During that time it is your argument that Vidic was, throughout all those victories, carrying Rio?

Besides, United's defence looks dodgy at the moment even though we have Vidic at the back. So what is it United are missing at the back? Hmmm, maybe Rio? Surely not...

Yes they do actually, when we get beat by say west brom people were banging on about mercenary and team and Mancini is rubbish etc. So what if i do? all the utd fans on here take me saying Rio is rubbish quite heavily and start banging on about injuries and performances nearly 2 years ago....and reading this-http://www.goal.com/en/news/1127/player-ratings/2009/03/11/1150543/player-ratings-manchester-united-2-0-inter he didnt play that well anyways.

imo yes he was from the games i saw that they played together, if you dont think he was then thats your opinion. Well its dodgy because imo your playing O'Shea and Brown etc who dont deserve to be playing for a team like utd and if Rio was there imo it wouldnt be better. At the end of the day ITS MY OPINION, so get over it and move on

Then I think someones point above stands that you haven't paid attention to any sort of football until this season!

It was the 2008/2009 Season, where he made 43 apps.

He then made 21 Apps last season, with just 13 of those being in the league.

He has been injured since.

I started watching football ever since i was born/remember, i dont follow utd in anyway really apart from the big games and the little bits on MOTD so how would i know that? do you know how many apps Adebayor made last year and how many he scored without checking wiki?

I'm pretty sure it was well documented/covered on MOTD + the relevant sports sites (BBC, SS etc) about the run of 14 games where United hadn't conceded in the league.

It's also been well covered on MOTD about how Rio has been injured, especially in the build up the World Cup where he was coming back, and was then injured in training again, and didn't go to the WC.

Adebayour probably made about 30 appearances, as Bellamy/Tevez were your preffered options for forwards - I know this from watching MOTD ;)

Yeh ok then, well i can assure you that i am not one of those and have suffered for 16yrs the pain of watching everyone around us eg Blackburn,yourselves win trophies but now i think its our time and this is seen with the constant hate of us now but tbh i could care less what any of you think but it is funny to see the posts when you all get worked up when i comment on everyones team and pick faults etc

Bucket-Well tbh i dont watch a lot of MOTD unless it is a spurs-wigan 9-1 game as im usually at the games so its pointless and please point me to the article as i have searched but found nothing :confused:
Well tbh its good that he didnt play imo as he wasnt exactly on fire nor fit so it would be pointless playing him
Well Bellamy was used greatly as LM/LW which you would have seen if you watched the games?

There is a difference between commenting on peoples teams and making things up and having no idea what you are talking about.

Still, it was just the same when it happened to Chelsea, dormant fans like you :)

Well obviously i did like them as i grew up supporting them but until a few years ago we havent had much to like.

What exactly have i made up? your saying Rio is a world class defender? that not one City player would be good enough for the utd team? and i do but you just dont agree with it.
and dormant? surely your similar living in Lincolnshire?

Note: No personal crap because you are a City fan or anything, I just don't see where your idea that Rio has been rubbish for 3 years has come from, when it's been well known he's been vital to United winning the EPL/CL.

Well i didnt aim for sympathy but reading it know i suppose it does look like it...
Yeh a lot as in City games, watch local teams, la liga games,serie a games,a live game such as liverpool v utd, arsenal v tottenham. i dont watch MOTD as it gives about 10mins of games and is pretty pointless watching it imo.

Sorry where did i backpeddle?...oh so a LM is a forward? a LW is but bellamy was rarely used there from the games i watched as he tracked back all the time and a LW doesnt really do this.
Well i dont watch MOTD unless its a 9-1 etc like i said so i dont see what the problem is there, i never said i completely dont watch it.
