English League Football ** spoilers ** [2nd - 3rd October 2010]

I'm just glad our next game is against Everton, it could be the ideal game to get things back on track.

Liverpool getting smashed by Everton will drive the club further into the ground, I'll be watching that one with interest.

Everton aren't pushovers but Liverpool CAN beat them fairly comfortably.

Torres out of Spain squad.
He -did- leave the country, he's gone for a bit of RnR and to see his specialist once the scans are sent through.
So it all adds up!

So, you're saying he left the stadum at half time, flew to spain, then flew back this morning?

That's not good, he might be a ****, but he's part of a very tough City midfield. Now he's rested nicely for when the EPL starts up again.

Cesc I'm presuming is staying at home to recover fully, and not flying off for Spain. >_<

Yes!!! A top midfielder who gets criticised for his bad tackles and no praise for the top drawer ones. Now we need Johnson to 'get injured' and were all good :)

Haha, all it takes is a bit of money from a nice rich sugar daddy owner, the ascension of a league places, and suddenly City fans too, are quite rightly despising the annoyance of mid season international football. :p

To be fair as well, his bad ones are ****ing horrendous, way way beyond the line for what a 'tough' midfielder should be doing. Look one position over and see the difference between him and Toure.

I think Johnsons performances for England are actually helping him improve faster. I've no doubt the confidence he gets scoring for his country helps with his domestic game. Doesn't really need to worry about being knackered as no-one seems to want to put him on for 90 minutes anyway!

Well they are i agree, but i dont want the risk of you know what (im not saying it :p), Hopefully he doesnt start and instead get 20mins or so where he can burn the defenders and bang one in like Newcastle.
