English League Weekend Football 8-12th January *spoilers*

Pathetic defending there.

Park just bouncing off Bowyer for the providing header, he needs to be sent to the glue factory, he is such a poor player.

Rooney cant do it all by himself up front, he needs another body up there, even if he just moves someone from the five in behind him.

Without Van Persie I don't see you having the quality upfront to win the league, also unless Fabregas continues scoring as he has been (which would be some acheivment), I can't see you keeping up with Chelsea and Man Utd.

It'd be interesting to see Man Utd without Rooney or Chelsea without Drogba for 5 months, I think Arsenal are coping better (without Van Persie) than both of those would. Don't forget that Arsenal are still the leagues top scorers. I'm not sure that goals are a big problem this season

Also, I don't see either of Man Utd or Chelsea speeding away with the title, neither seem remarkably good, every team this season seems to have an achilles heel that the other teams are being smart enough to exploit. With Arsenal it's being overly aggressive, Chelsea were terrible from set pieces for about a month, Man Utd lack inspiration in midfield and can be frustrated too. The other teams in the league are becoming very effective and stopping the top teams battering them

******* ****, just absolutely ****, Fergie is absolutely ****. Why are we playing for a draw against a mid table team? I can only assume that's why he's only stuck 2 attacking players in the lineup.

70% possession and we've created one ******* chance, which Rooney of course missed. Just utterly useless we are, I wouldn't put money on us scoring if we had 450 minutes to play let alone 45.

Why has he dropped Berbatov?

the last time he did that...oh yes we LOST 3-0 to Fulham, not something you'd think he'd try again. He continues to try and play Park in an attacking role despite the fact he's ******* crap there. Why do we have Diouf and Owen sitting on the bench? Does he not want to win games any more?

I'm just fed up of this utter **** he's feeding us, now a days performances like the win over Wigan are becoming the exception rather than the norm.

And yet he still says we don't need signings. So Park is our first choice left winger then is he?

Van Persie isnt as good, or as important to his side as Drogba and Rooney are to theirs.

Its not as if he is prolific, or consistent or fit for any length of time.

(waits for DM's meaningless goals per minute stats, which dont take into account opposition, or relationship to the game they were scored in).

Ferguson knows what he is doing HOW DARE YOU CRITICISE HIM.

I just can't see how anyone can defend him at the moment. I've read nothing about Berbatov, Owen and Diouf being injured so one can only assume he's CHOSEN to go 4-5-1. Which means our tactics are thus:

Hoof ball up to Rooney

1 in 10 times Rooney will win it.....then pass it all the way back as there's no-one within 40 yards of him

repeat.

And we have to be one of the worst sides at corners in the world, we've had about 10 in this half and have yet to come close to winning a header in any of them, they might as well just give them a goal kick each time.

Did you watch the Arsenal games for the month or two before he got injured? He became the most important player and iirc was voted player of the month a few times. He made the attack more penetrative and the team without him are much less fluid and create far fewer chances, Diaby does a better job of covering for Cesc than anybody does covering for RvP

Edit - October player of the month in the league
