English League Weekend Football 8-12th January *spoilers*

Can't believe Manchester United started with just one up front. It is a bit sad that the top teams in the league play with just one up front now even against the smaller teams in the league. You can understand it when they are playing against each other as they won't want to lose, but Manchester United should be playing two up front and making Birmingham try and cope with them. Same with Arsenal.

Two soft yellow cards and Fletcher is sent off. Really really soft. To be sent off and then receive a one match ban for those two challenges is absolutely ridiculous.
 
24 appearances... I hate it when people say he's played 24 games and scored 7 goals. How many of those are starts, and how many of those are full games... How can people judge a player when he is never given a decent run of games in the team.

Thing is though, only once have I seen him play well this season. If he put in good performances and didn't score i'd have a lot more sympathy, but he just looks like he's drowning every single minute he's on the pitch.

He's not the kind of player to be involved in the game as much as someone like Rooney for example. If you don't get a decent run of games in a team then you cannot get into any kind of form. If Drogba was in and out the team like Owen was he wouldn't put in good performances either.
