I didn't even realise it was that close - I can only see the minimum purchase cost in dollars for some reason?

That's annoyed me that little bit more now - might just get it on Steam just out of spite! :D

Hahah im currently playing jedi fallen order at 1440p on high and my 1070 is struggling to hit 60fps keep having to put things on medium settings these days which isnt the end of the world but id prefer 1440p 60fps Ultra settings
 
Awesome got GTA V & CiV VI for free then got Metro Exodus for just £7.49 , thats me sorted for a few months , remember playing Civ II nearly 30 years ago on my 286 with 40mb HD (cost me nearly 2k at the time) and must have played it non stop for a year.

I bought it on Steam 2 days ago. I checked some reviews and most was going on about how its one of the games of the decade. I checked how much content you get with the GOTY edition and it's a LOT! I ended up buying it on Steam for 1p more after realising that with all the expansions, DLC etc the cost would be far more than the standard edition ever would be when it's (eventually I'm sure) given away on Epic Games. AFAIK the only leaked games coming are the next 2 which are Boarderlands Handsome Collection and ARK.

I know it's only a tenner at the end of the day but it will still be annoying if/when it drops free!

I like the looks of the various mods - especially the ones that make the more mundane tasks a bit easier!
 
I would be quite surprised if Witcher 3 is given away for free, given CDPR's ownership of GoG I can't see them wanting to basically torpedo all future sales just for a greasy bag of Epic cash... or maybe the bag really is that large and/or they feel as though sales have dried up anyway (doesn't seem they have to me, but I don't have the real figures)

Same tbh, but maybe witcher 3 base game in time "could" happen since it'll likely get people to buy the expansions that don't come with the GOTY edition.

It could always appear on MS Gamepass, which at £1 would be as good as free
 
Honestly, £10.49 is an absolute bargain for Wither 3 GOTY, and both expansions are massive. I know its nice to get things for free but its such great value, each of the expansions is worth more than that on their own. I'd just grab it from Steam or GoG.
 
if you have a switch and witcher 3 GOTY editions on switch and pc you can join them together and play on PC then pop out with your switch and carry on playing from where you left off

The way I saw it is that the expansion pass' cheapest ever price (£7.99) is just £2.50 less than the GOTY edition so if I wait however long I'm going to save £2.50

Comes down to whether you plan to play anytime soon.
