erm... I think they've kicked me out of uni

From the other thread:

"Look at me now, I have nothing to fear, no (enemies) friends, and I've learnt a lot..."

Just not enough.

to be fair there isn't much work or alternative training opportunities. i feel forced into uni like 10000s of others but currently it is the only way i can get into the career i want.

people will moan even more if all the uni students go and sign on !

dave will sort it though. by upping uni fees and forcing more people to sign on. even the uni lecturers and admin staff will end up signing on when attendances half :p

I never went to university, didn't want to and at the time was lucky enough (we're talking 1995) that there was still an abundance of apprenticeships available in a variety of industries and services. I'd have hated university, just barely managed to stomach part time college work whilst working full time but i'd have ended up stabbing people (and not with my penis) to death if they'd sent me to uni the way they seem to with school leavers these days.

I did try a summer course at university but that just reinforced the fact that I didn't want to do it!
