Few tips to help

Guns: Remove mags / pistol grips, can often turn guns from 2x5 into 1x5 + a extra square or two
Rigs: Look out for various rigs which give more space on the inside than they take up
Mags / Ammo: Right click some of the ammo and mags and do filter by, if you see you can buy it cheaply from the traders its safe to vendor it, can always buy it back later. Most of these things are not worth much anyway

@Puppetmaster I am now accumalating AK variants due to your pistol grip trick. Also, the filter buy has been extremely helpful with learning what ammo is worth holding onto. Thanks a million!

Safe to say I've got the bug with this now, its equally rewarding and infuriating.
 
Currently taking a self imposed sabbatical from Tarkov...

2 years of smashing this game and I'm burnt out. I'll return to it for sure, changes this wipe are excellent and certainly makes sense not being able to just buy all the top tier ammo/rigs/bags etc.

Looking forward to move Lighthouse improvements and the mystical "Streets of Tarkov" at some point - I'll return for sure but for now - playing some other games I've been wanting to get into for a while.
 
Getting it grips with it all cheers guys that offered advice.

Level 10 now, sadly, I got invited to a squad earlier, I joined thinking it would be good to team up with some randoms..it didn't end well for me, was greeted and then shot straight away.

embrace the solo grind....Otherwise find a friend you know to play with you. Duo's are good, trio's are decent, anything over that is a nightmare for comms etc.

It's a right of passage for new players :cry:

If you want extra people to play with, I'd recommend checking out the discord servers for some streamers (Robn springs to mind) as they usually have players looking to group up. The added bonus is that there's a modicum of respect and less backstabbing because it's a "community" where names will spread for any nastiness.
 
I Preordered the standard Edition on 29/11/2019 and the region is Europe, My question is can i still carry on using this version of the game or do i have to re-buy the game for my region? (i live in the UK)
I did post this on there official forums but i am having trouble logging in and also my post has disapeard.
Any Help please.

Should be fine - login on the EFT website - redownload from their website and you should be fine.
 
Had to cut myself off, been spending every spare second on this game since wipe, level 44 and only a single page of tasks remaining - hit the account reset, time to focus on some SP stuff or maybe even...well, family :D

I guess i'll be back for Streets.
 
Got to level 15 so have access to the flea now.

After a week and a half it's safe to say I'm addicted.

I love the gun play, Factory is brutal but so satisfying.

I killed 3 PMC's with only two bullets from the Mosin yesterday. Should have extracted with their loot but a scav killed me with a nade. I didn't have any armour on!
 
I have great run running around Customs with a HK MP5K in each weapon slot and rig and backpack full of magazines. I killed plenty of geared high level players and it was funny watching them run away from a level 9 player all over the buildings. Granted I failed to extract once.

I feel similar. Haven't got hundreds of hours to invest in what looks like a huge grind fest and I know I'll get frustrated and drop the £125 or whatever it is on the top version as the small stash looks a right PITA. Watching it is easy though, like the concept.
