Seriously can't wait for this game.

No namby pamby hand holding, crouch button to auto stick to cover mechanics etc etc. New video out I think, not seen this one. The game does promise a lot, has quite high goals, the insane level of detail they are aiming for is quite something. So hope this doesn't go amiss.

Dear friends!

We are, just as you, eagerly waiting for the first live stream of Escape from Tarkov, where you will see with your own eyes, how the Alpha version of the project looks and plays like.

We are also happy to announce that, instead of one stream, there will be two, both live, at the different time; one for our Russian-speaking audience, and one for English-speaking.


Both streams will be broadcasted on our Twitch channel on Saturday, April 2nd.

The stream will be presented by the project lead Nikita Buyanov and Alexander "Kiba" Kovalchuk, with estimated running time of 1.5 hours.


We have tried to choose the time that would be convenient to the most of us:


The first stream - in Russian - will be broadcasted at 16:00 Moscow time.

The second stream - in English - will be broadcasted at 18:00 UTC (21:00 Moscow, 19:00 CEST, 14:00 EDT, 11:00 PDT).


Both stream replays will later be uploaded to our official Youtube channel.

Yep shanks, this is something I'm so buzzed for, don't think I've been this excited about a game in a long long time. They seem to be giving the game a huge amount of love, there's some incredible levels of detail and depth going into this one. If they nail the survival feeling along with how it looks and plays, then surely this will be GOTY material.

Sooo stream was a bit of a disaster!

Only the russian version worked and the stream was super laggy.. Was hilarious to hear the Dev rage quit and smash his keyboard at the end!

Still looking forward to this though.

Delayed Stream, Buggy, Cancelling the English version and then the rage quit :D


They did release a statement after though and I understand their reasoning. Typical Russians though :p However I still have high hopes for the game.

Dear friends!

Let us elaborate a little on what has happened to the stream and why it has turned out this way.

The main reason for stopping the Russian stream and postponing an English one was that the aspects of the game that have already been working were not showcased the way we originally intended, i.e. lacked the quality we initially aimed for. This led to the decision that was eventully took - Russian stream was stopped, English one cancelled.

That was, in part, caused by lack of time we dedicated to set up the streaming on Twitch and in part by the lack of testing of the Alpha build version we attempted to show the gameplay on.

We indulged in our desire to show you as many features and content as possible, and that was a mistake on our part, as all of the newest additions were not properly tested due to critical shortage of time - for instance, the game server could not handle its interactions too well, leading to 1-hour pause before and half an hour later.

However, we'd like to point out that this was just a test stream of the Alpha version, an it wouldn't be correct to judge the final quality of product based on it.

We are greatly disappointed by these course of events and would like to once again apologize to those who dedicated their time to watch us. On our part, we take it as our responsibility to conduct a new stream on the level both you and our game deserve, showing everything we planned to show properly. All the mistakes we've made up to now were learned from, and won't be repeated again.
