Tasker is probably in my top 3 apps, it does so much stuff, but you definitely need to learn how to program it first.
How do you do the flicking to open apps on it?!

its under a gestures bit

it records points via accelerometer i think

i turn my phone 90 sideways and abck and messages open
flip it back then forward and settings open,
90 degrees the other way and stocks open,
flip it forward and dolphin opens etc

even though im using adw now, just paid for launcher pro. Those sense widgets seem worth it :) Plus, fair play to the guy, hes an AWESOME dev who deserves some moolah.

and for £2 and a penny, pish!

Launcher pro version, the contacts widget doesnt show pictures from the facebook sync, only pics that are stored on phone, anyone else confirm?

Edit: others have posted this as a problem in the comments section of his website

hi
can i ask when you buy apps from the market store does it link it to your account and let you download them again if you were to change your phone to another android one

Well, I'm just getting the hang of everything now, and wow, android is pretty freaking interesting. I think maybe the desire isn't my ideal phone, in the sense that there's just so much going on. With a standard phone you know, you hit the green button and that's it, nothing to involve yourself with, but I must have spent 20 hours over the last 3-4 days playing with apps and whatnot. Overall, a very impressive platform.

My current fav apps are google sky, photoshop.com, Laputa, 3gwatchdog, handcent, appbrain and a few really promising music apps. I really hope android expands in the way the iphone market has with regards to music creation apps.

I'm a little worried about security though. A lot of the apps seem to have access to things that they have no need for. I was reading an article that speculates that 20% or more of the apps on android market are spyware apps, and considering they have access to everything on my phone there's reason for concern imo?.

Or you could just press icons on the screen and avoid looking like someone having a hand fit! :D
Just kiddng... sounds kind of cool

Really want LP Plus, but I'm unable to buy through Paypal. I tried to register for the first time ever earlier this year and when I tried to link my bank card, it said it was already on the system. Phoned them and they were insisting the card wasn't on the system, but site was clearly saying it was. They were never able to get to the bottom of it. Its the only card I have so guess I'll have to wait for this to appear on the market, but I think that will be a long time, if ever:(
