its should do, mine does on the desire. just make sure you dont kill the app on taskkiller.

The app doesn't appear in Advanced Task Killer Pro. :confused:

Refreshes automatically for me on Desire.

What doesn't update at all atm for me is HTC weather or indeed fancy weather widget.....

Any decent solutions for accessing hotmail. First Android handset so unsure if it can be integtarted easily or an app is required. Basically, what's the best hotmail access solution?

You can set up POP3 access for hotmail..

Thanks, does it leave a copy of the email on Hotmail too? How about marking that copy read?

I think there may be a bug with SwitchPro widget, because sometimes mine gets stuck too. I only notice when the battery bar in the taskbar drops. If I click the battery icon on SwitchPro, it displays the battery stats, then I back out and it displays the correct figure. This kicks it back into action. It doesn't happen that often though and I have no idea what causes it.

Double check that Weather is set to sync in menu/settings/accounts & sync. In 1.5, you set the refresh interval in the weather app. In 2.1, they have stuck it in the sync options also. For some reason, when installing new roms (not sure if you have), I find weather disabled by default in Accounts & Sync.

Yeah that's exactly what is happening. I like the widget a lot, hopefully it is sorted.

Anyone use an app to remotely control a torrent client (Utorrent) ?

I'm using transdroid, Great little app however, I like to label my torrents so, When i get home i have to move them to the correct directory and alter the download location, That's a ball buster when you have snatched a good few TV shows.

Any that can apply labels ? Does Transdroid actually do this and i've missed it ?

I thought this was widely known. Task killers have never been recommended afaik and the only people who used them seemed to be the more naive folk who couldn't really justify why they used them.

Yes it does. POP3 downloads the emails to your phone and when you delete it off your phone it doesn't affect your hotmail. If you want to mark it as read etc.. ie so it's in sync with your hotmail then you need IMAP instead of POP3.
