Search for "BBC iPlayer".
Just checked the market couldn't find it.
Link please?

Does it need flash player installed to work?

Lol but that is nothing to do with it.
If you want to watch iplayer just download myplayer - it covers everything the iplayer app does.
*Sigh* that was disappointing! What's the point in having it WiFi only?!![]()
I'm assuming it doesn't allow you to download either? The best thing about my Nokia 5800 was the iPlayer app as you could download the programs for viewing later.
Cheers didn't know that. Still annoying though to allow such a key feature on selected platforms only.It won't let you download but you can do that from your PC and copy a program across so it's no loss.
Nexus18, do you find the USB connection for file transfer takes ages to connect on the CMa8.3 software? or is that just my phone being gay? lol
Also I seem to still have this problem where youtube videos won't actually show at all with 3rd party browsers, it's just a blank space, where as with stock it shows properly
Any ideas?
Also I have made sure that the plug ins are always enabled.
Thanks.
Lol, nope haven't noticed that at all on my configuration based on CM 8.3, will connect within a second or so, although I don't really use it that much anyway, only when transferring a large number of files i.e. 20 or more or something large in size i.e. 50MB or more. I use estrongs file explorer to transfer most of my files etc. across to my mobile from PC or vice versa.
Roughly how long are you talking about?
Plus I am using lukiqqs kernel at the minute, which is extremely quick and smooth compared to just stock CM 8.3, and I haven't tried it out at all with just stock 8.3, so could be a problem with it maybe, but I haven't seen anyone else mentioning it in the discussion thread.
Apparently lukiqq kernel V4 is even quicker/smoother now, going to put it on later tonight, just a shame that battery life for me so far is crap with his kernels
Also could you try this out on dolphin mini please? As this hasn't worked at all for me since CM 8.2, if you try loading the below URL, which has 4 youtube videos on it and see if they display for you and launch the youtube app when you select them:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18227845
Also make sure that you have enabled plug ins in the settings menu.
Would appreciate it if you could try that out. Thanks.

Yeah sure, will try that out in a minute... Lukiqq's v3 crippled my phone lol might try v4 and see if it's any better

4 Recovery Screens - 4 recovery screens because of 24bpp - Will be fixed
Screenshot Problems - Some screenshot apps don't work because of 24bpp - Might be fixed in future
v4 changelog:
- fixed Framebuffer by tom3q, thanks
- changed CPU frequency scaling, now in sleep mode we have 266MHz which can be boosted to 400MHz and 800MHz by ondemand governor (now used by default), now all is even smoother.
- some minor tweaks
- fixed broken menu in Camera
- replaced CONFIG_USB_GADGET_VBUS_DRAW=2 with CONFIG_USB_GADGET_VBUS_DRAW=500 which should affect faster charging via USB. (thanks Ch33kybutt)
