On the website it says author valve and not compatible. On the app store it says author is pwned.com and also says not compatible.

Are they they the same app?

No, the one by pwned.com is called "Steam Friends", not "Steam" .

Search for "Steam Valve" without the quotations and it's about 12 apps down the results . The phones market doesn't normally show stuff that isn't compatible though, so it may not show up.

Ive been accepted too.

You attempt to log on in the app twhich then puts you on the list to get the invite. I then got the notification this morning via steam on my pc.

Very laggy scrolling across for me on the Galaxy Nexus plus a whole page of annoying adverts, even if its only an empty page now with Adfree

It was much smoother when I forced GPU acceleration, but that can cause problems with other programs. It also then started Force Closing, atleast until I managed to get right to the end of the pages! seems alright now tho.
