The new humble bundle is out and is cross platform with Android, some great games such as World of Goo and Osmos available.

The new Sky apps are good news but I think its to little to late. You can bet that to get the unlimited streaming you will be looking at a hefty price so as to keep the price of the Movie channels on the STB artificially high. The choise will be poor becuase they will focus just on movies and sports and lack TV shows which are traditionally shown on Sky 1 or it will cost extra for this. And as the post above says limited to 2 devices. I have 2 androids 2 iOs devices a PC and a Mac, that just will not cut it.

I predict Sky will fail and Netflix will become the streaming king.

Freezes on most of my conversations too :( - which is a shame because I've seen it work flawlessly on a friends computer. Kies has a nice built in messaging feature like Airdroid, but the contacts aren't matched to their numbers on mine. Motorola have a really nice one though, one of the good things that they have designed on their handsets.

it's fine for all my contacts except my gf's, which has nearly 3000 texts in it. I'm not surprised there's a delay:p

I've had most of messages archiving since March 2010 ;) - lots of threads are 1k minimum! Not to mention the other halfs.

You can see where I'm going with this...

Well you're an unusual case with so many devices. Just pick 2. For Sky it's a licencing issue they prob couldn't avoid

Google is to launch Bouncer, a service that scans the Market routinely and also keeps tabs on developers to strike down on malware and potentially dodgy app behaviour.

It doesn't just scan apps though, it simulates those apps in the cloud sandbox.

A brilliant move TBH and this mutes any debate about Android's market being unsafe, you know the kind of stuff that die hard iMarket fans will blurt out from time to time to fight their corner :p

It isn't as good as reviewing the apps, but helps block the obvious malware. Has the same downfalls as any other AV like software: definition files need to be up to date.

Looks like you didn't read the article. Bouncer has been running for months, it's only being unveiled now ;)

Has there really been much malware on the Market anyway? It's not really a common thing.

They need to start bouncing the masses of crap apps instead. :p
