Says GTA3 is incompatible with my phone, Galaxy S :( Which is rubbish as i have er... tested it from else where, but would like to buy it while it's on sale

Anyone got any ideas what i can do?

Could you login into another phone? a friend perhaps. Might work, but I'm not sure. Probably won't be able to install it though.
 
*warning* I've no idea if this will work or whether it's safe to try, was just an idea

You could go to the build.prop (root > system) and change these two lines to a compatible phone

ro.product.model=GT-N7000
ro.product.brand=Samsung

(GT-N7000 is the galaxy note, yours will obviously be something different)

Make sure you edit build.prop from a pc rather than the phone. Me and another member had to reflash roms to fix a phone that would fail to boot editing direct from there phone.

I've edited my build.prop many times on my phone and never had boot issues...

FWIW I edited it through ES File Manager (using ES Note Editor) - worked fine :)

Changing the phone name to something else didn't help me download incompatible apps though - might work for others though, so I guess it's still worth a try

Is your phone rooted?,

My tablet appears twice on my list, before and after custom rom was flashed, might be the problem.
 
Anyone recommend a decent Formula 1 app which keeps me up to date with race results, qualifying and when the next race is happening etc??.

One my iphone4, i had the F1 racing app but cant see to find it on Android...at the moment im using the ESPN F1 app and its not that good in all honesty.
 
That's **** then - sorry about that - I can't test it on my phone to see how well it performs as my custom ROM is missing a lot of OpenFIMG driver work so it can't display the app properly :(
