Widget Locker is probably the best
+1 to this. It's not free but it's well worth it. I was originally using Go Locker but had problems with it with the recent updates. Switched to this and it's far more customizable!

I was going to ask where you guys play all these games. I assumed it would be 'waiting for a bus/train' or 'waiting in the doctors office' or something along those lines, but if you're building things to hold controllers, I assume it's at home?
Don't you guys have PC's, Xbox's or PS3's?

NavFree.
I have a PC & Xbox
But I can't carry those around with me to play games
Good lord, Dead Trigger is fantastic. Dem graphics.
Any decent looking racing games about on Android that'd run will on a One X?
Hey guys I just noticed something with the Auto rotation on my SGS2. With Apex Launcher and with TW Launcher, the home screen, app drawer and pull down notification screen don't rotate to landscape. But they do with Go Launcher. Is that the same for you? How about if I try Nova, does that rotate ok? In the car, I put the phone in it's cradle in landscape position, so it's a bit of a pity those 3 screens don't rotate.
Also, exDialer doesn't rotate. But that has nothing to do with the launchers as it doesn't rotate even in Go Launcher. Seems odd that it won't rotate.
Apex settings > behavior settings > screen orientation
You sure you enabled it in the main settings as well i.e. settings>display or something like that?
Only other place would be in the touchwiz launcher settings menu.
Some launchers don't rotate though i.e. stock sense launcher doesn't.
