I was going to ask where you guys play all these games. I assumed it would be 'waiting for a bus/train' or 'waiting in the doctors office' or something along those lines, but if you're building things to hold controllers, I assume it's at home?

Don't you guys have PC's, Xbox's or PS3's?

Anyone else install the latest 'Beta' of VLC?

It's not a bad UI, quite smooth with video (plays most file formats I've thrown at it, just like the Desktop version) and Music sounds quite good!!..

There's no EQ, Widget or Lockscreen controls yet, but it seems a good start!! :)

Play anywhere, home, work, in the car while waiting for people. It's not hard carrying a controller in a backpack or messenger bag or glove box.

Portable novelty and nostalgia .

The consoles weren't so bad nor the collapsible picnic table and chair it was the plasma screen that caused me the problems, I thought I'd get used to it, I took the lot to work a few times but it was too much for me, in the end I had to admit defeat:(:o:confused: plus the set up time was ridiculous, 40 min once in the Dr's waiting room but that was all the morons shouting at me and getting in the way coupled with me having Flu!

All I can say is thank God for mrk for showing me a slightly easier method of otg gaming with decent controls!

Hey guys I just noticed something with the Auto rotation on my SGS2. With Apex Launcher and with TW Launcher, the home screen, app drawer and pull down notification screen don't rotate to landscape. But they do with Go Launcher. Is that the same for you? How about if I try Nova, does that rotate ok? In the car, I put the phone in it's cradle in landscape position, so it's a bit of a pity those 3 screens don't rotate.

Also, exDialer doesn't rotate. But that has nothing to do with the launchers as it doesn't rotate even in Go Launcher. Seems odd that it won't rotate.

Apex settings > behavior settings > screen orientation

You sure you enabled it in the main settings as well i.e. settings>display or something like that?

I have yeah. I've got 'Auto rotation' enabled in the pull down notification screen, I've got 'Motion Activation' ticked in Motion, and I've got 'Auto-rotate screen' ticked in Display. I take it there's no other TW Launcher menu I'm meant to go into? When I switch launchers to TW, I just use the default system settings of the phone.

Only other place would be in the touchwiz launcher settings menu.

Some launchers don't rotate though i.e. stock sense launcher doesn't.

Ah, but I thought that's what I was doing? When I've switched to TW launcher, I press the left bottom capacitive button, it brings up a grey rectangular box with Add, Wallpaper, Search, Notifications, Edit and Settings. When I go into Settings, it's the same System Settings screen as for instance, when you click system settings from Apex.
