xscope is smooth and fast - though others on here (mostly nexus18) swear by ics browser+ or quick ics browser... I could never get those (or chrome actually) working on my unofficial build of ICS for my phone so I can't comment on those, but xscope has some cracking features and it really is genuinely super-fast at loading web pages :)

Yup :D

ICS quick thumb controls FTW!!! :D :p

I find quick ICS browser a bit better overall compared to ics browser+, it has a more polished feel to it.

xscope is very good, however, the lack of quick thumb controls, no text reflow and a few other things missing, puts me of it. But it has got some great features!

EDIT:

Oh! We can post "FTW" now without it being starred out?!

Nexus - you may not know this but I have only seen text reflow work in the ICS+/Quick ICS browsers if you have HTC Sense. Does not work on my Samsung devices.

When I want text reflow I use Opera - Very good text reflow.

I have quite a few browsers installed - I use different one for different sites.

I know about the HTC "pinch and zoom" text reflow, but I meant for xscope when you "double tap to zoom", it doesn't even reflow the text for that :(

Opera is great for text reflow, I just can't get on with the UI and poor rendering for web pages (both full and mini version) :(

One browser, which I love and used it on my spica as the default was dolphin mini, nice UI, very minimal but had loads of features, just not bloated like the full dolphin version :p Was very quick and smooth as well.

Galaxy browser
is very good as well, last time I tried it.

Maxthon Android Web Browser is extremely popular too!

I have posted the screenshot to show you:

1st screen is without auto-fit on.

I'm sure it wasnt like this on GB - happened when I upgraded to ICS. PITA!

Double tap to zoom was very handy - now its been replaced with 'auto-fit page' option which as you can see messes up the page format in overview.

All they had to do was implement HTC/Opera style text reflow - why have they not noticed this?!! Samsung!!!

Stupid move by Samsung there :(

I hate the "auto fit page" feature on browsers as well!

I could live without the "pinch to zoom" text reflow but not the "double tap to zoom" text reflow.

Are there any good mp4 shrinkers to make my phone videos smaller before i upload them to facebook/youtube? Recording in 1080p and the files are getting quite large, taking ages to upload :(

The new ICS based xScope double tap reflow worked fine for me last week (up until friday before I reinstalled gingerbread so I can't prove this theory right now)

The old (6.35 I think) version for GB works fine too - I use it to view this forum for that very reason :) zoom out to find the forum title, double tap to zoom in and it fits perfectly then I set the volume up/down buttons to scroll :) simples

Anyone know of a news app that can be set to pre-fetch full articles at a set time? Id like it to download the news at say 8am so that I can then read it on the train where I get no signal. The HTC News app only does summaries, not full articles.

I prefer Google Reader (gReader, not the official Google one) which will do just that and because it's synced with your Google Reader subs, everything is in sync everywhere you can access the app or web based version. It's also very good and you can sub to standard website URLs as well and it does the rest.
