Quick question is there any good apps that i can use to remote login to another pc from the desire like remote desktop can do on the pc .

I know this might have been covered here but i skipped through and didn't see it .

Thank you

Okay im getting really annoyed now! I just can't get any app to turn my bloody mobile internet on, the only way i can do it is having to manually go to the settings menu.

Ive tried most of the apps in market, i press them but it doesn't turn the internet on, wifi and bluetooth etc all work.

Just tried this switchpro, everything works but when i click the mobile internet, instead of simply TURNING THE MOBILE INTERNET ON, it takes me to some useless black menu where i can't really do anything from.

HELP!!!

Reset your phone?

The Mobile internet part of switch pro works fine for me...

I've reset it, all the buttons work apart from the mobile internet one, when i hit it, it takes me to a menu, all the free apps don't seem to work either.

I must be doing something wrong?

edit, dont know whats going on now but when i try turn mobile internet on through the main phone settings menu, it dont seem to work either now???

I think you've enabled the wrong switchpro widglet(!) - Enable the widget again and notice there are 2, one called 3G-2G and another called APN. One opens the menu, the other turns on/off internet.

Khaaan you're a star! I worked that out last night but thanks for posting anyway, you've been consistently helpful to everyone since getting your desire.

It's not gone unnoticed (by me anyway) so big thanks to Khaaan!

Instead of the crap android stock keyboard I have now got the HTC_IME keyboard on my I5700 with out rooting the mobile or anything like that :D .

The best keyboard ever. So many settings to do with the interface etc. Plus you can have 3 keyboard styles, QWERTY, compact QWERTY and phone keypad. Plus you have the voice to text feature as well etc. no lag at all, so much smoother than the android default keyboard :D.

Anyway here is the guide on how to do this:

I use astro as my file manager, Download Link:

And you will need to enable "unknown sources" in the "application settings".

I downloaded v25 low resolution for android 1.6 and up and it works great (My I5700 is on 2.1).

Enjoy! :D
