Not sure I want a "full scale massive 3D epic RPG" on my tablet or phone *BUT* I am interested if you get the original Bards Tale as part of the package like one of the screenies suggests!

Can anyone confirm this is the case and if so, how does it play?? I must have spend hundreds of hours playing the original BT through time and again!!!! :)

Couldn't resist it! Excellent game. 3.5GB! (for Tegra 3, though you can stick with std def files of 1.7GB if you wish)

As to BT original, you get BT1 with the promise of BT2 & 3 to come. Way too retro for me, and it didn't help that it crashed on me!

Long shot: using Agenda Widget (free version) with Astrid Tasks integrated, and whereas before clicking the tasks toolbar in the widget used to take me to the list of my Astrid / Google tasks, since moving to Jelly Bean it now tries to create a new calendar event for some reason.

Any ideas?

Hmm, sounds like you need to configure the setting when you touch the bar in the widget to open the "astrid tasks" section/app instead of "create new event"

This app (root required) looks very handy for people that use MHL adapter to mirror/stream films, games etc. onto the big TV! Essentially it turns the display off (will still respond to touch input), but doesn't put the mobile into sleep mode, so advantages of this:

- It saves your battery
- avoids heating to prolong battery life

I used to love the original Bards Tale - amazing game that I can still remember the route off by heart through most of the city and dungeons! :D - TARJAN for the win!!!!! :p

As far as the main game goes, my phone is the Xperia T and my tablet is the Galaxy Tab 7.7 - will it play OK on either of these do you know? (I don't think either is Tegra 3 but I'm not sure!)

Don't know anything about the Xperia but I'm sure it will play fine (and be a better experience) on your Galaxy.

Thanks, probably should have said that I checked that setting first of all and it's definitely set to open Astrid task list.

I've submitted a query on the dev's forum.

Thanks guys. Using dolphin HD and its work so much better than the stock browser.
However how do I change the websites displayed on a blank tab?
I've deleted some bookmarks and added new ones, yet the blank tab shortcuts have stayed the same and can't see a way to change them?

Also well peed of with Netflix downloaded the update and now it doesn't work, get a black screen for 2 seconds and back to start screen. Tried clearing data, didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled no didn't work. Tried a few apks I could find, still nothing. Can anyone find the one which worked flawlessly for me?
Seems I'm not alone the reviews are terriable, well lesson learnt, read reviews before updating.

Titanium Backup Pro

Gents

When ever I restore after flashing a rom I have to manually enter the email settings, I'm sure TB is supposed to do this and I have read threads on other boards where people have the same issue, no fix though

Anyone come across this? Also is there a way to backup your widgets to get them restored as well?

These two things are really bugging me :D

Thanks

Mart

A while ago I came across an app that lets you control your android via a pc. On the PC you can see the screen and control the phone in real time. Not sure if you had to connect the phone to the PC via usb for it to work or you could use wifi. Anyone remember or use such an app? Ideally I'd like to connect via wifi.

You might like to have a look at AirDroid, which they say ... is a fast, free app that lets you wirelessly manage your Android from your favourite browser.

Personally I have found it useful on more than one occasion, and although my PC is 'hard wired' into my hub, my Nexus is wireless, and links with it nicely.

AirDroid is a great piece of software especially since they sorted out the problem with it not being able to access your sd card.
