European Grand Prix 2011, Valencia Street Circuit - Race 8/19

Freeview only has 1 alternative stream for Red Button (whereas Sky and Virgin have many more), so they can only show one thing. They have chosen to show Tennis. No surprise really, they have openly stated that one reason they want to drop F1 is to keep Wimbledon as it appeal to a much larger audience (apparently....)
 
Why oh why do we go to places like this. Looking at the online feed, theres nobody there! most of the track you cant even spectate on!

I have always judged the popularity of a track by its crowd. At some places they sell out and there are fans around the whole track. On others, there are a handfull of grandstands and they are all empty. This is definitely the latter.

Agreed, With the Austin GP next year, Russia talking about getting one, France wanting one back soon not to mention anywhere else, you have to hope and pray that Valencia gets dropped.

Didn't the European GP used to alternate between countries? or has it always been fixed for a few years?
 
So what do we all think?

Has the EBD rule affected RBR so that they are now level with McLaren and Ferrari or are they sandbagging like they usually do in free practice?
