European Grand Prix 2012, Valencia - Race 8/20

It's not irrelevant, because it means that he did not anticipate not being able to turn when he got onto the kerb. It's important because it means he wasnt trying to ram Hamilton deliberately (and why would he?). What it does show is very poor judgment.

Maldonado knows what he is doing, his arse is millimeters from the ground and it does not take a genius to work out what happens when a low car straddles a raised kerb. He's rammed Hamilton deliberately before, I have no reason to doubt he'd do it again given half the chance, like he did today.

Have to say that race surprised me, as I thought it would've been a snooze fest per usual. It was very much the opposite! Love the comment that Crofty made about Schumi and the holding up the post office on a Tuesday (pension day) :p

Pastor should probably get a few race ban, maybe not all his own fault but he does have a history and the ramming in Monaco on purpose should have seen him banned already when he done it to Perez? on purpose, and the incident with Lewis in Spa.

Alonso is just on another level, as for as raw talent goes.

Kimi is also amazing. Considering he's only just come back into F1, he just oozes talent like he's never been away.

Sorry, how on earth is Maldonado still being allowed to race in F1 after so many blatantly using his car as a ram on multiple occasions? Gimp needs to be shown a black flag for the rest of the season.

He isn't on his own up there. Remember Vettel was way out in front in Qualifying, and comfortably pulling away at 1 second a lap without looking like he was even trying.

Vettel is good and has bags of talent, there's no doubt about that, but then he has the car to carry him. As for Alonso, the guy delivers pretty much all the time, even in a Inferior car. He's in a class of his own.
