Perez was 6/10ths up on Hulk at the time he put it in the wall, he was on an epic run. Hamilton again went faster than Rosberg and by the looks of things had to abort one or two laps, one for an off in turn 1 but that itself was about 3-4 minutes after he left the pits so I suspect he abandoned 1 or 2 laps already due to traffic. So likely not ideal tire life.
Perez car should be easily ready for qualy, but if he needs a new gearbox he's going to get a 5 place penalty. Looked from that pace like he might have been able to qualifying 3rd or 4th.
