Not worth the money it would take to sign him anymore, but to say he looks better because of the players around him can be said of anyone. As person Ronaldo gets on my nerves but no-one can argue that he isn't a great player.

Messi is absolute garbage really - anybody would be good with Xavi and Iniesta alongside them :rolleyes:

Why are you quoting me implying that i said Messi was crap ?? Best player in the world in my opinion. Best player I have seen live.
 
lol, as blatant a penalty as you can get. Wasn't entirely paying attention but didn't look at all like the Rayo defender or keeper were protesting, though they didn't show much of them in the replay. For an actual dive you'd usually see instant anger at the player who went down, neither did.
 
Ronaldo misses the next match for absolutely nothing, not sure how it works but there is normally a point in the season that you don't get a ban for certain numbers of yellow cards any more which they would be close to if they have that rule.

Just looking it up it's against Eibar at home... so in terms of beating Messi to the golden boot award(europe I guess as well as La Liga) that could hurt him. It's these games against Eibar/Almeria/Granada that will make all the difference to winning the award.
 
Sevilla make it 2-2 with 8-9 minutes to go with extra time. If it finishes like this they'd have a 2 point lead in the title race. They had a 2-0 lead but Sevilla have been great second half.

Yup, he's on freaking fire, other teams were nuts not to go for him. I love Vela as well. I prefer Vela on the wing out of the two but Griezmann upfront with Vela on the wing is awesome. I think Atletico suits him in as the little man playing off the big guy. Lots of chances are falling to him and Atletico have a MUCH more solid team than Sociedad which leaves him to be further up the pitch, less defending which again suits a quick player who is a great finisher.

Utd were rumoured to be going for him, Liverpool should have been in for him, Arsenal really couldn't fit him in and I suspect vela would have told him not to bother anyway. City could use him, Chelsea could use him. Top player, probably unfortunately for Atletico if he stays more than two season they'll be lucky... could be lucky to keep him this summer.
 
Celta vs Real 2-2 with 30 mins gone. Good open game, both sides attacking. Way way more exciting than the borefest Arsenal/Chelsea game. looking like a good game to wrap up the weekend.
