** European League Thread (Spain/Germany/France etc) **

Also watching the Dortmund game, they've been nothing short of spectacular.

Aubameyang and Reus are a terrifying combination when they're both in form.

4-0 within 5mins of the second half, could have easily finished the first half 6 or 7 ahead. Mkhitaryan has been so much better than he's been at Dortmund so far, he was rubbish last year.

Commentators getting a bit up themselves about his 6 goals, the WolfsbErg they beat in Europa wasn't the WolfsbUrg who finished second in the league but some random european minnows and thrashing them while good isn't the same as beating the 'proper' Wolfsburg. Likewise the 4th goal before this game was german cup against lower league opposition.

Oh Kagawa... shouldn't of missed it. Nice to see him getting back to form, Utd were ******* retarded to not utilise him properly. If they'd just given him games he'd have found form and been awesome.

The difference it makes ending a season with a bit of form and having an uninjured preseason for almost everyone is amazing. They look straight back to their best of a few years ago.

Well that was easily the most one sided 4-0 I've ever seen. Hope this means that Dortmund on the way back to where they should be.

Seeing the actual quote of what Pique said to the linesman shows that the red was entirely justified. Kinda funny, but ****ed up.

Wouldn't be against that being enforced a little more consistently throughout the leagues.

He's also looking at a minimum of a 4 match ban for it, possible 12 matches. With this and how shoddy Barca have looked at the back lately I can't see the start of the league getting off to a good start for them.

Bendtner getting a goal for Wolfsburg, 1-1 late in the game.

Bayern 1-1 with 2 mins normal time to play, Muller equalised 43rd minute and they've had 80% of the possession but can't get a second. Now down to ten men as Boateng managed 2 yellow cards in two minutes like an idiot.

EDIT:- Pigeoned it, Bayern 2-1. Not sure if Gotze dummied it or missed it, went to Lewan behind him who put it in the net. If he did that intentionally it was brilliant.

lol, he'll do that once a year and be worthless for the rest of it... probably. At some point you would hope that a player with his potential actually decides to buckle down and try. As yet he's ended up just another player who got too big a contract young, felt he made it and stopped trying. I hope someone was smart enough to give him a appearance based contract with nearly nothing when he doesn't play.

Either you're a WUM or you hate football. There's no doubt he has failed to fulfil his potential, but this idea that he does one worthwhile thing a season is pure ****e.

I love watching him, that's all it boils down to.

How on earth doesn't Spanish football have goal line technology? I thought we were bad in this country when it came to using technology but that's ridiculous. Combine that with the awful camera angle and you couldn't really tell whether the Sporting Gijon header was in or not.

On another note, RM look pretty average so far, particularly at the back.
