Yep, Nissan are serious trouble and the that merger may save them. VAG are big trouble and so all of the Stellantis group. Hardly anyone can compete with the Chinese manufacturers specifically on cost.Even Honda and Nissan are exploring a merger.

One of the best things about moving away from ICE is noise pollution.
People have been conditioned to think noise = better due to the technology being used. Said this many times before, experience living next to a main road and both the noise and smell are horrid, why add a version of pollution
I my luxury things, less noise is better.

Many years ago I had a land rover Series III, the exhaust got a hole in it and noise certainly wasn't betterExactly my point. Noise does not = better.
Ironic? What are you sniffing now?... so that was jonny's ironic posting, on that tiktok thing, under name jonnyvtec ? not having been in a civicR, either, I'd immediately found an example
those just announce they only have a 4pot
My wifes Corsa is getting a bit long in the tooth so she'd like to replace it with a similarly sized EV.
She's not fussed on make etc, only has two MUSTS.
1. Range circa 200 miles
2. Buttons/switches/stalks. She detests touchscreens & menus![]()
Looking for something in the upto 3 year / 30k mile age, any tips on makes/models would be appreciated.

Less than £20k would be good, I'll have a look at the KonaBudget?
Kona 64kwh ticks the two boxes
Nero is the other obvious choice.Less than £20k would be good, I'll have a look at the Kona
It's the buttons that are the critical point, she will have nothing to do with touch screens or touch sensitive buttons. Good old fashioned mechanical switches are a must .Nero is the other obvious choice.
For £20k there are so many options, you can even get 2022 ID.4’s and Polestar 2’s with higher miles for £20k.
2023 Megane E-tech anyone? That should get 200 miles in all but the coldest winter days.

Definitely look at the Kona. My wife had an ID3 for 3.5 years and we loved it. When she changed she went an tried a used Kona from the local Hyundai garage and bought that. the car is very compact but has a good interior with lots of buttons. Well recommended for a small second car, or a good car for a couple I would imagine. It's the buttons that are the critical point, she will have nothing to do with touch screens or touch sensitive buttons.
