The fact Norway has a much smaller population does not make a difference to how the model works.
The concept I was pointing out is simple. As new car registrations shift more towards EV (25% currently and rising to 80% by 2030, it means that in circa 10 years approx 50% of all cars will be EVs. It’s simple mathematics as older ICE cars are scrapped. That alone will have a big impact in the environment and on how our wider energy structure will look.
The idea that a tiny few percent of people with genuinely wry limited charger access makes this push pointless, is utterly illogical. They will still have access to hybrids.
