Just had our order confirmed for the Kona (64KWh, Cyber Grey) for September. Just weighing up between a Pod Point or HyperVolt for home now.

Have a look at the ohme charger too.

My company has just started a company car scheme for electric cars. 3 year lease where the car, insurance, servicing etc all included in the month costs which comes out of salary before tax so you save quite a bit. Will be pretty tempting to do this once I actually need a car again.

Very much like the NHS scheme we have done.

Just remember that it does effect your pension...doesn't bother us as we are very much happy to live for the now!!

Have a look at the ohme charger too.

Maybe it’s just me but they look really untidy with the tethered cable just hanging there. Compared to the Podpoint where it wraps around itself.

Not yet, install is scheduled for the 7th July.

Renault are advertising 0% APR & ~£200 p/m on a Zoe maybe because the end of Q2 approaches. They seem to make these offers. Worth checking on a home charger install too.

yes - this MG5 isn't bad either - albeit the old one , from HUK -> £64 p/w, back into the £300p/m if you need 12K though.

What I like about the Podpoint is the fact you can wrap the cable around when not in use and looks neat.

I went with NewMotion (well, I didn’t have much choice). It’s 7M tethered and is a lot more convenient than having to get a cable out every time.

We have a 10m cable! had to get an untethered charger and buy a type 2 cable to get that though

They have a raspberry pi inside for all the ‘smart’ stuff, should make it quite interesting for future updates etc. I thought the led lights were a bit of a gimmick at first, but some subtle illumination to let you know the status might be useful.
