This was me 20 years ago, swopping video cards every few months. 4 kids put a stop to that lolSome of us have a natural position of having "the best" when it comes to gaming rigs but dont it ever make you feel a sucker?. I am no exception to this I must have the best tech, after upgrading to DDR5 mobo, ram and ordering 13th gen i9 then comes the RTX 4090 arriving, just as you install it a thought pops into your head you just know it wont be long before the 4090Ti comes forth to ruin our day but you must keep upgrading like a compulsion.
That was basically same era as my last "gaming" PC.Still on an Athlon 3000+ and 6800gt
Same as that and I’ve hardly touched it since I got a PS5. I’ve pretty much lost interest in pc gaming and it doesn’t fell like it’s coming back anytime soon.I'm still more than happy with my 3600 and 3070 combo.
I recently 'upgraded' to a 4790K!My 4790K still does what I need it to.

I did need a new gfx card though, the 1060 was struggling. Other than that, I can't justify buying anything newer until my current rig dies.
No, bought it bog standard in the MM.Is it unlidded?
C'mon, get that bad boy unlidded. It's easy to do and makes a world of difference temps wise. No, bought it bog standard in the MM.
Maybe one day. I feel that would end up being a catalyst for me to buy a new rig as I am guaranteed to mess it upC'mon, get that bad boy unlidded. It's easy to do and makes a world of difference temps wise.
