Evolve thread

If the Alpha is already capped at a ridiculous console scrub 60FPS then that does not bode well for a polished PC product.

"Press A to start" was another fantastic sign of things to come!

A majority of our games last night lasted less than 3 minutes.

You either need to play Monster better or find a better Monster...

- Runs like trash. I suspect this may be negative SLI scaling however. 0% GPU usage on second card. Sub 40 FPS on 2 x 780Tis and a 4.6Ghz clocked Haswell i7. Not only was the frame rate absolutely dire but the freezing and huge FPS variance makes the game highly unplayable.

- Very little overall depth at this stage, if it's not expanded upon for final release they are going to have issues selling this.

- Is that a 60FPS cap I see? ARE YOU FOR REAL?! Trashy development and an INSTANT no buy if the game retails with a 60 FPS cap.

Yup negative multi GPU scaling, although I had a constant 55-60fps while recording at 60fps as well when playing on a single FirePro D700 aka 280X on all High with FXAA and Tessellation.
Having Crossfire Enabled gave me 15-40 fps with severe dips to 5 fps. Same as with Ryse on it's release, although 2K are only on Alpha so far.

Also it's a technical Alpha just there to test performance and servers, so if you have an issue please go report it.

I enjoyed it for what it was, although I agree it needs more depth.

Well I cant even play it, all it does is load, load, load, then load some more, then when I finally do get into a game as soon as my character drops out the plane I get a black screen crash (audio keeps playing), which locks up my entire PC and requires a hard restart!

This seems pretty repeatable every single game. Not really inspiring me to want to buy it on release...

It's an Alpha weekend and please report the issue. That's the purpose of it. It's not early access, it's a proper Alpha.

If these issues are there for the February launch, by all means have a right go at them; I would. Until then please report the issues, how else will they fix them?
